Finding parts that fit

I've been buying stuff for my 65  lately  like upper and lower control arms headersheater core. And so far I've had to do major mods like building my own with parts off new ones. I know the 65 was a stand alone but what's the deal with finding even factory parts.

Ames Performance is my personal go to for all trims and so on and for mechanical stuff, you can't go past Rockauto.

The hardset part of the 65 are the specific one year only bits like the trunk lock (impossible to find) the rear lights and grille. When I bought my car, I made sure that every badge and trim piece was there. I knew it'd be tough sourcing all those little things that finish the car nicely.

You haven't got a spare 65 front bumper in good nick, have you???
