Hey everyone  I am new to your community  and will be exploring  your site.

I have always loved Pontiacs and love to see them driving around.  My family  owned a 1969   Tempest CUSTOM S  with over head cam 6.

I bought my first car when I was 16 and paid cash  1,500  in 1974.  It was a 1970 GTO  Judge Ram Air 3 with a 4 speed . About 37,000 miles.  Let me say I was blessed with my first car. I remember the first time I jumped on it the front end came up so high I couldn't see the road until I went to 2nd gear. I followed thru the rest of the power shot and then let up on the throttle.  I remember my heart was pounding so hard I thought it was going to come out of my chest.  As many of us have now regretted  I sold my FIRST Love and to this day miss it and think of it often. Then I felt blessed that I owned a  Beast of a car.

I later purchased a 1979 Tran Am.   I know what an adjustment.  It is a w6 and a 4 speed with T tops.  It does feel good to drive on a sunny day .  22'000 miles.
