Nice set of Pontiacs you have there! Notice the pics might be a little old. Do you still own them? (just curiosity, we don't require ownership here :) )

Yes ,I restored them both in the years between 1990 and 2000,they have a home ,have no plans of getting rid of them ,been driving Pontiacs all my life and plan to continue driving them ,thanks . I also own a 1973 chevy stepside that I have a 400 Pontiac engine and 400 auto transmission ,I have been driving that since 1976 and have restored it 3 times ,love the Pontiac running gear . Since Pontiac didn't make trucks ,I made my own ,lol.

I'll bet a Chevy pickup with a Pontiac engine and tranny really ticks off the Chevy purists! Good for you man!!  I like it!

They don't have much to say ,lol, they can put LS engines in Pontiacs ,why can't I put Poncho power in a Chevy ,lol, People pull up to a stoplight and comment ''Man that Chevy sounds good '' ,I reply '' Nope ,it's a Pontiac ,you can't make a Chevy sound this good'' ,lol ,Most people love the way it looks and sounds ,gets a lot of compliments and thumbs ups.

That's an awesome attitude to have my friend. I get kinda irritated when it's okay to put a Chevy engine into virtually everything but it's not okay to have a non-Chevy engine in a Chevy -  like is it is some sort of high crime or blasphemy.

The stepside looks nice enough on its own, but the Poncho motor just puts it over the top!

Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping the Pontiac faith!

One time I was in a Harley shop and overheard two guys talking ,they were looking at the new Harley Buell which is sort of like a crotch rocket . This one guy weighed around 400 lbs. made the comment ''I hate those crotch rockets ,every time one passes me ,I want to run him down and whip his Butt .'' I kind of chuckled and said ,'' I don't see but two problems you have Pal ,the first is you have to catch up with him ,then the second is , no guarantee you gonna finish on top in the ''butt -whipping '',lol...I think everyone should be be able to ride what they want and customize it any way they want to . If Pontiac made trucks I would have one of those ,they don't so I made my own ,lol....

Two of my favorite Pontiacs. Welcome to the site.
