Hey, My names Jessica!
I got a Firebird last year and am still learning about cars over all. I’ve been looking through forums whenever I have new questions and am happy to be joining your community!
I actually had a problem today with it where I went over a large bump and my check gauge light came on, the engine powered down and steering basically stopped. I was able to pull over and park safely. She is low on oil, has new spark plugs and recently got a new battery. When I try starting her she makes a clicking noise, the engine moves but doesn’t turn over. Any advice would be much appreciated or if this has also happened to anyone else.

Jessica,  The way it shut down and the steering went out, sounds like your serpentine belt broke.  This would also kill your alternator and run your battery down.  Dead battery would make the clicking noise when trying to start.  Bet it was running hot too.  Hope you have someone that can replace the belt for ya and jumpstart the car.  Good Luck N welcome to the site.

Without any photos, I agree with JUSTA6's assessment, that is the most likely scenario.

Please let us know what happened to your car as soon as you can.

Thank you for the advice! We found out the problem was the ignition fuse blew and is now replaced and running well!
