Very nice break-down

You have a  clear idea how it works.

Kirby Smart,  UGA''s Head coach is the highest paid college coach now & maybe history. 10,000,000 + is Not chump change.

IMHO he is worth Every nickel.

GO DAWGS

Ryan Day is paid almost $10M a year (5th highest paid college coach). Right now I don't think anyone in Columbus thinks he should be allowed to keep his job after losing 4 years in a row to Michigan. If he doesn't win the National Championship, I suspect he's gone.

The problem with programs like OSU and Georgia. Once you've reach the very pinnacle of the college football world, how likely can you stay at the top for any length of time, even if you keep your coach? Let downs are inevitable and that's when the jaded fan base comes at you because staying on top, by it's nature, is not sustainable for any long term period of time.

But when you win two overtime games including one with your back-up Q.B. for the SEC Title.

You Must be doing something right.

JawJa

There is no doubt that watching a football dynasty like OSU, Georgia, Alabama, etc. is fun to watch. GO team GO! The question is how long can any of them stay at the top?

Jawja? I feel like that is turning into How to Speak Southern.....LOL!

Ah - The things you see with, and the pronoun for individuality

"Ah think Ah've got sumpthin in mah ah!"

Aig - A breakfast food item that maybe boiled, fried, poached or scrambled

"Which came first, the chicken or the aig?"

The proper Southern plural form of the word "Y'all" is not "Y'alls". It is "All Y'all".

"Y'all" is a term that may be used for most anything,  Y'all

Being Southern is a state of mind

So if y'all from Jawja, y'all live near Etlanna?

Isn't Southern state of mind synonymous with NASCAR, shrimp n' grits, 'shine, fried chicken, and Lynyrd Skynyrd? Asking for a friend.

Sure..    I just wish the Yankees would steer clear.

It is Easy to make fun of a Life you will Never understand. (Hopefully)

I am good friends with Guitars Extreme (GE). He lives in southern North Carolacki. He is a madman with a wrench and a torch. He has crazy fab skills. He is also as about genuine southern redneck as you can get. He embodies “hold ma beer, watch this,”. His grandpa was a shiner. The folks at Petty’s Garage refers to his ‘08 Challneger SRT as the Deer Slayer’s car because of the number of deer he has killed with that car, yet is the second stupid-fast car I have ever driven.

I may never fully understand Southern, and I am glad. GE’s level of madness and genius quite frankly scares the bejeezus out of me. I think to myself, my life ain’t that bad either.

Very well stated.

I have several friends from the North.  When I say "Yankee" it is not derogatory.  I have buddies from Pittsburgh,Philly,Boston,Cleveland.Baltimore,New Haven,Augusta(Maine) and even Rutland Vermont.

There are good folks everywhere.

Just gotta give them a chance.

I am a True Southern man.  I even have two business degrees from the University of Georgia.

Call me Redneck,Hippie or Gentleman. (I will respond to All).

Clink....here's to you,

Al

Btw...I have a Stratocaster, 58 Les Paul (hollow body) & a Tak.

I am not great but I Love guitars as well.

Then you and GE would need to sit down together and jam. He was once a roadie for Alice Cooper. They are still friends. GE, as his name suggests, is huge into guitars and amps.

U think we could get him to set up a golf game with Alice Cooper?  I heard he likes to play.  That would be Incredible.  I would love to meet Alice Cooper.  Then a few drinks and Jam session.  I dream well Eh?

Don’t know till you try…….

Big shout out to my Michigan Wolverines upsetting the 11th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide 19-13 at the Reliaquest Bowl. Bama was a 17-point favorite going into the game.

Michigan has beaten Bama twice in the same calendar year. Michigan beat Bama at the Rose Bowl last January on the way to winning the national championship. Also this is the second time this year Michigan beat head coach Kalen Deborer. He coached Washington last January and Bama this season.

Go Blue!!!!

Amazing win!  Being a UGA Fan/Alumni,  it is Never a Disappointment to see Bama get SPANKED.

UGA is ready to take on the Irish

GO DAWGS!!!

I'm on the fence with this one. Will UGA crack like Arizona St and Oregon with too much time off? Or is UGA that much better than Notre Dame? I like the idea of three midwestern teams in the final four, but I really hate Notre Dame.

Good luck!

Nice things about Michigan's win over Alabama? Twice in one calendar year, the same team has been Alabama! Twice in the same year, the same team has beaten Kalen Deborer with two different teams under his leadership. It's also the first single digit season for Bama since Nick Saban took over at Bama. Aww  what a shame.

Congratulations Notre Dame.  The Irish played some Good ball today.   (They FINALLY beat UGA)

Even so,  I am a True Dawg fan.   I Bleed Red & Black.

Wasn't able to catch the first half due to a meeting at work but definitely seemed like ND wanted it more in the 2nd. The punt switch to offense was savage! If GA had their starting quarterback and get Etienne going, they were screwed though.

With the UGA loss, all of the power 5 conference champions are out! Amazing. I didn't see that one coming.

With Texas-OSU and Penn St - ND left, odds makers are thinking that OSU and ND will play for the national championship and OSU will win it all. Curious to see how all this shakes out. Personally, I'd like to see Penn St vs OSU, an all Big Ten national championship. Of course, I admit that I am biased on the Big Ten since I bleed maize and blue.

I make no apologies for being a Michigan season ticket holder for almost 40 years. I've seen Big Ten championships, a Rose Bowl, two Heisman Trophy winners, and two national championships in that time. All I can ask for at this point is "more please!".

Sounds good.   OSU would win Easily... IMHO

U R right about the Dawgs complete lack of interest.    They really did not have the heart u need to win that big game.  Plus the fact that Mike BoBo(sp?) is not able to do his job at all. He will be replaced.

Have No Fear,  cause the Dawgs will be back on Top next year.

Was talking about this with the boss last night. Crazy to think! All games except Texas and ASU were not even close either.

Also, all power 5 conference champions have all been eliminated!!

So the national championship will be determined by conference runner ups or non-participants.

Will be interesting but not Exciting.
