of the Month

  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.

This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...

Rumor has it Dodge is bluffing with these Hellcats, and they're really making around 800HP at the crank.

Bluffing and they make more? Is there a reason to say they make less? I thought Manufacturers always lied and said they make more at the crank?

Dunno why, but either way these things are insane fast for the money. We're talking Supercar acceleration territory here, especially the eight speeds.

I will say this, the C7 Z06 has a fiesty pony car to contend with.

At the strip or at the track, I think the Z06 will take it. The Hellcat still weighs too much IMO. Experienced driver though may be able to make it close at the strip

Stock for stock, possibly.

Modded, the Hellcat needs a massive rubber upgrade and suspension bits, and it'll carve corners too.
