  1. Happy Belated Halloween Gang. We went out to our local last cruise-in for the year which fell on Hollow's eve so they made it a Trunk or Treat . Tons of kids, we had a blast.

    1930 OAKLAND V8

Seldom seen Oakland V8 Pictures taken last weekend at a small local charity show. The last place I would expect to see such a rarely seen machine. Older restoration that had been tucked away in a storage container for 10+ years. Another car I just couldn't get enough of :-) ENJOY!

  15. 1966 & 1967 GTO taillights look cool but fall short on visibility from behind. I re-did the taillights on the '67 a few years ago just before I sold it. Once you have it all broken down as you do, you can blast/strip the housings down to factory finish. At that point I prefer to use high temp flat white within the housing over the Chrome paints. I've tried both and think the white was/is far reflective. This will gives an excellent reflective value and makes the lights brighter with new bulbs and NO other mods needed. Polishing the lens' is easily accomplished with any good plastic polish/cleaner kit. Repro gaskets are available from most Pontiac parts suppliers. I've also done this to my '66 Lemans which have worse taillights than the GTO's, they are 1/4 the size with chrome fins over the lens WTH were they thinking
  16. It's a nice driver at best with way too many negatives. Description alone lacks any value, i.e. no mention of PHS documentation. A fully correct restored doesn't even book at a high point of 56K Then just looking at all the worn and/or incorrect parts from the images, IMO put that car in a 17-19.5 value range and even that could be a hard sell. Sadly the 6 diminishes value with a 10% negative. But as my Grandfather always said there is an A$$ for every seat Whenever I'm asked what's it worth the most honest answer I can give is only what someone is willing to pay.

    PURE PONTIAC

I came across This '53 Chieftain "Woody" wagon which was one of few Pontiacs while attending a local charity show today. It just drew me in and I couldn't get enough of her. Truly amazing wearing most of her original paint.
