  1. 2.24 for the 87 i use in the lawn mower and 2.89 for the 93 i need for the outback
  2. i ordered some new bulbs for the outback 9011 and 9012's.. the 9011's replace the 9005's and the 9012's replace the 9006's.....also ordered a Alpine IVE-W535HD head unit..got a pretty good deal on it so..
  3. oh i'm not saying they weren't they must have just took it to a basic shop that didn't report stuff like that or did it themselves..
  4. is that the carfax..doesn't look like anyone ever took it in for an oil change except for that one guy at 141k..unless they did there own changes..
  5. that's the only thing i ever used on the Grand Am..the longer ac delco filter...been getting longer filters for the suabru H6 since the oem size filter is so tiny..found a napa/wix filter with the correct bypass pressure..
  6. someone else i asked afterwards said all i would have to do is take the shoes off and send them through the scanner. automatically figured i'd be leaving the knife and leatherman at home.. i don't plan on taking a whole lot with me.. also found this bag which is a smaller one than i posted first which in one of the comments said it was the max size for carry on when it's about 90%full http://www.amazon.com/Olympia-Luggage-Pocket-Rolling-Duffel/dp/B001TK2XCI/ref=pd_sim_198_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=09H8GQ6XJV2SD2T0P43N&tag=viglink23813-20
  7. ok so change of travel plans for the future vacation.. next year i'm going to portland oregon to scout out neighborhoods and what not for my future move..now since i've never been through an airport let alone post 9/11 what should i expect..i'm already figuring on getting there a few hours early.. i plan on taking a laptop , my phone and typical clothes.. obviously i'm going to have to leave the knives at home. i plan on going there for a week.. i have like one pair of shoes i wear which are steel toe boots and with the metal on my belt loop i figure that will get some attention as it always does when i go through a metal detector.. i'm most likely going to be leaving through logan airport in boston FWIW.. or since i forgot about bradley international in CT that's a choice too.. i know every airport is different but given that what should i expect..i was figuring on getting there a few hours early for the whole process..i will probably only have one bag plus maybe a backpack. figuring on this type for a luggage back.. may go with the duffel style http://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Luggage-Winfield-Fashion-Charcoal/dp/B00EALLN56/ref=sr_1_3?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1440336781&sr=1-3&nodeID=15743251 or this one http://www.amazon.com/Olympia-Inch-Pocket-Rolling-Duffel/dp/B00JET0QG6/ref=pd_sim_198_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0K7W8FZT8PN8GGGPJ0WR
  8. may have to bleed the brakes again..that belt conditioner stuff makes more of a mess than it's worth.. trust me on this on take the belt off get a little bristled brush and some dish soap..get a container that you can comfortably fit your hands and the belt in and scrub it clean.. trust me on this one it will be quiet when you put it back on..
  9. not today but yesterday i started pulling all my autometer gauges out of the GA..
  10. how did it go.. if the belts getting warm then that means the pulley is heating up and that means the shaft is heating up.. it may feel like it's spinning freely by hand but there could be a little bit of resistance..
  11. that sounds like a bearing to me.. they are most likely sealed bearings..
  12. i've been looking for a set of oem 17's for mine..the 60 series sidewall is killing me in the rear of this thing..if you hit a manhole cover when going around a corner or some kind of bump the whole back shakes.. as for the outback i put some rear sway bar bushings in it and had one of the key's with the remote fob integrated in it cut. started de-modding some of the stuff i had on the GA..got the caspers fan wiring almost out..
  13. i hear you on that.. one of the multiple reasons i went for the outback.. the 6000's are nice and all but a 28yr old car that will need work before even considering DD duty is out.. you should buy my grand am..the body is rust free and it's mechanically sound plus you get the modded engine..it will come in way under you budget too..if you want to check it out let me know..less than 3k miles on the modded engine setup
  14. well i sold the carbon fiber hood off the GA and put the perrin front sway bar end links on the Outback.. probably the last pic i will have of that hood..waiting for the person who bought it to pick it up..
  15. iirc it was 3.05 for 93 here for the outback
  16. i've been playing euro truck simulator 2 again lately..went with a kenworth t800 tri-axle..
  17. lots of people add lifts and bigger tires to the 00-04 outbacks and haven't touched the brakes.. and from checking it has roughly the same size front rotor and backs too.
  18. will do that in a few days.. i don't have the mount at my house.
  19. the one from my car is the bottom piece.the grey one..
  20. nope can't find a thing listing the colors other than gray and beige..looking at my pic i'd say it's more along the gray side ... i'm leaning towards the 15083 silver from the chart they sell for 1.00
