my grand am. i am just going to replace the assembly to something (sexier). still use halogen. i just want to know what aftermarket sites you guys use.

Hey guys and gals, a guy i work with has a convertable, and the motor that runs the top up and down does not work. He has looked (as he says) everywhere, but i told him maybe FP could help. He owns a 1991 Pontiac Sunbird LE with a 2.0L 4banger. If any one has one for sale or knows of one, or knows where he could find one that would be great. BTW he would rather not get a junkyard part if at all possible. Thanks

ok guys so i ended up just replacing the entire column. thank god i did because when i pulled the original out it kind of just fell to pieces. thanks for the help guys.

Whats up guys? its been a long time since ive been on. Last year i had a new exhaust put in (new o2 sensors, new cat, 2" stainless steel pipe, and a flowmaster performance exhaust with 3" baffles). I also had line-X spray my undercarriage with this melted rubber crap, it helps with insulation of heat, cold and noise. It also helps with rust (iowa sucks with this). I put on Kumo Exta Platinum tires (love kumo). I am currently looking to get a CAI and work on the interior.

Ok so about a year ago I had line x spray the under carriage of my grand am, my car needs to be repainted a lot of people are saying that a should have them match my paint numbers and paint my car with line x. We have been having a lot of people doing it around here, I just want to know what you guys think about it.

it goes up and down the locking lever doesn't seem to be locking the column. What photo/video site are you guys using or can i just upload it straight from my computer to FP?

hey guys and gals, i have been gone off this site for a while, i did a few things to my grand am during that time. But i came across a problem recently. The tilt for my steering wheel will not stay in the position that i want. it kind of tilts more to the left while going up. i checked out ls1.com and they said probably the dowels but im not sure. Does anyone know what it could be? I took off the shroud and nothing fell off or out. i can give more details if you have questions but its getting late. I have a 98 Grand AM SE V6 3.1. Thank you.
