So What Car Shows Are You to in 2013?

Featured Replies

So what car shows are on your "must do list" for 2013? I am sure you have a short list of "must dos", a longer lists of "likes to go" shows, and even a list of "some day".

For me

Must Dos

North American International Auto Show - Detroit MI - January

Detroit Autorama - Home of the Riddler Award - Detroit MI - early March

Mt. Morris MI Memorial Day Parade - May

Michigan Widetrackers Dustoff - Davisburg MI - June

Hadley 4th of July Parade - Hadley MI - July

Back to the Bricks - Flint MI - August

Woodward Dream Cruise - Pontiac to Detroit MI - August

Frankenmuth Autofest - Frankenmuth MI - September

Golling Car Show for Lake Orion MI Senior Citizen Center - Lake Orion MI - September

Sellars All-Buick and Pontiac Indian Summer Show - Farmington MI - September

Charleston Rod Run and Doo Wop - Charleston WV - October

Likes

POCI/GTOAA Co-Vention - Dayton OH - July

Trans Am Nationals - Dayton OH - August

Some Day

Pontiac Heaven - Phoenix Az - April

Musclepooluza - Bennington VT - May

Hot Rod Power Tour - cross country - June

AACA Eastern Regional Meet a.k.a "Hershey" - Hershey PA - October

GM Carlisle - Carlisle PA - June

Bandit Run - cross country - ends in Brazelton GA - home of YearOne Experience - May

Pomona Swap Meet - Pomona CA - held several times a year

Tour Desert Valley Auto Parts - Phoenix Az - home of Desert Car Kings TV show!

I can say I have attended one POCI convention, one GTOAA convention, and one Trans Am Nationals before. They are not to be missed. Hershey is a bucket list meet, especially if you are working on something that is from the 50s or older. It is something like 60+ miles of swap meet if you walk ever row and aisle. Spring and Fall Carlisle is huge, you never know what you will find. The GM Carlisle meet is great too. I have also done a one day stops of the Hot Rod Power Tour when there stops are in Pontiac, Kalamazoo, and Warren. I'd like to do it from start to finish though.

You can't win if you don't enter Young Gun. All cars are special to their owners Ghost. Make it special to you !!!

There aren't too many around here, but if the annual DRIVEN show is coming back, I want to try and get the Focus in.

Been unfortunately too busy to get either of my cars in a show or look what's around this year. Think I might just lurk around some shows this year

All cars are special to their owners Ghost. Make it special to you !!!

true and it is. but in a world full of imports and classics, more must be done to the car. hopefully my plans are enough.

Red deer, ab has a cruise night every Thursday the weather is good. Anywhere from 300-1000+ cars will gather, from may- november. I take the G8 cuz most people have no clue what it is lol, I get some strange looks while driving.
