I love the idea of the Charger SRT Hellcat - I don't think Chrysler did themselves a favor with the new front clip on the Charger though. Looks too much like the Dart. I have not warmed up to this styling on this platform yet.

I love the idea of the Charger SRT Hellcat - I don't think Chrysler did themselves a favor with the new front clip on the Charger though. Looks too much like the Dart. I have not warmed up to this styling on this platform yet.

Seems like everybody is going to this "squished" upper grille look, it looked nice on the Mustang at first. I don't like the Camaro with it and I don't like the Charger with it. I get the aerodynamics and cooling properties of doing so but I just don't like the look.

I also think the matte black does a lot to hide bad or faulty styling. I suppose you could call it "stealth styling". This front fascia looks like it has something to hide and it is accomplishing it remarkably well. Put the Magum grill on this thing and it would look better.

Who doesnt love a good car related .gif? A well-done .gif can condense the best parts of a video into just a few frames, and its even more satisfying when they loop perfectly, as is the case with this amazing Trans Am burnout that truly is a cinemagraph. Now it may be my Pontiac bias showing, but this is definitely the coolest .gif Ive seen all week, and it might just be the best car .gif ever.

thats some serious power. and i do agree that it does resemble the Dart. maybe it would have helped a bit if it had the current headlights or the bumper section between the headlight and grille.

the trunk curve and taillights do scream Dart but not the bumper. they should have tried a different style of taillights.

Saw this car on the Discovery channel. They took it to the Kennedy Space Center, used the landing strip for the space shuttle and broke 270 mph in it to beat the Bugatti Veyron's top speed. I guess Bugatti retains the title as the world's fastest "production" car since only 29 Venom's have been built at $1.2M a piece and that does not satisfy the Guiness Book of World Records people as a "production" car. Still, its a neat car.
