Music is music, DJ's that make techno, dubstep, trance, etc, they don't exactly just hit buttons and whatnot, their music does have structure like a rock band would. The execution is done differently.

The electronic influences can be heard throughout other genres as well. Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B mostly, but even some rock bands, even metal bands. Some of my favorite metal bands have a keyboard/synthesizer player in their band, and the element of atmosphere is added, musically speaking, is like no other.

So, not Dubstep, but Trance.. I did see Above and Beyond last weekend and it was amazing.

I was completely soaked from dancing my own ass off and dancing with my friend (girl) on my shoulders, lost my dress shirt, had to buy a shirt so I wouldn't get sick walking home. It was super fun and it seemed like the DJs were having as much fun as we were.

I've heard many times on XM the Above and Beyond live shows, I'd love to attend a show like that.
