j/k... Hope everyone's ok.

Ouch. Idk, I think it could be save-able.

that looks pretty bad, I would say that it is most likely totaled. What happened to cause the accident and is everyone ok?

thats my mothers van. or it was. see the mini hill behind the van? thats rock on it and it continues back parallel to the street in the direction of the van. my mom was on her way to work, some animal got in her path and she swerved to the right to not hit it. she got on onto the hill and puncture the gas tank all the way to the spot she hit the truck. the tire most likely popped on the hill or off it. and the front suspension looks completely busted and the passanger front tire looks turned to the right and angled in 50*.

Ouch, well hope she's ok but yeah seems as though it's totaled... Might have been better to hit the animal

well, ya. but when something suddenly comes out in front of you, running thru it doesnt come to mind. she and the other driver are ok. some bruising and swelling on my mom.

ok, so the insurance took the van the day after the accident. they are paying $42XX for it. i didnt think it would be that much. now im going to help take out the stereo and other things that need to be taken off.

So, $42XX to fix it or they are giving your mom that much?

  • Author

$42XX payment to my parents. not to fix, and the van is gone (in both gone and totaled).

not saying everyone should run over animals but sometimes in cases probably like this it would be better and safer to not swerve.
