Haven't been around for a while, I have become acquainted with almost every doctor Kaiser has in their employ.

I am back working on the Catalina, have removed the dash to clean up the rats nest of wiring. I managed to get the cables for the remote mirror acquainted with a large hot wire and did in the cables (terminal damage). Is there a supplier of those cables I have not yet found?

This was all prompted because the Chinese manufactured passive entry push button start went wacko and I am replacing it with an American made unit from guard dawg.

In case anyone needs to know the Howell engineering wire loom for an LT conversion does not have a tach wire in it but much time spent on the internet I found out that there is a tach pin in the ECM. It is pin 40 on the middle connector.

Copy that! Nightmare 101! And San Fran area is nuts too! But I do believe the worst I have ever see is Toronto! Not as bad in volume, but crazies definitely! I would prefer to drive in the road course racing with one eye closed as opposed to the QE1!

Dwight, if for some reason you have trouble finding the cables an airport maintenance shop can probably help as those type cable are very common in aircraft. So those shops make whatever size & length needed.
