Hi, I’m Phil. This is my 1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport with GTO badging. I enjoyed the experience of driving it 10 laps around the Bristol track at the GTOAA National Convention in 2022. What a thrill!

Hey welcome Phil! Beautiful ride man. How long have you had her? Do you have any other pics? Interior shots maybe? We love pics bro!

I have had it for 7 years. Recently had the engine rebuilt and replaced the carb with a Holly Sniper EFI system. I’ll try to add more pics. I have some of the interior somewhere. I just have to locate them.

Hi Phil! Greetings fellow '72 Lemans Sport convertible owner! I have a blue over white Lemans, called Lucy (for the original Lucerne Blue paint). So chat it up here in the forum. You are among friends here.

When I saw your Bristol photo, I immediately thought of you being at Hot Rod Power Tour 2 years ago, which ended at Bristol. However, you noted it was from the GTOAA convention instead. Cool!

Thanks, Frosty!  Would love to see a photo of Lucy!  Also, love the name!

Us to Frosty one, we love pictures in case you haven't heard.

Here is the picture I use most of the time - it's in my garage space here on FP. I am turning it into a Lemans Jury tribute car. No GTO badging for me.

This is from the late 2000s. This past month I replaced the recessed '72 egg crate grilles with the more forward '71 Judge grilles. I will need to post a picture of that soon.

Also you can see lots of photos of work-in-progress of Lucy in my thread, appropriately named "Lucy, Lucy, Lucy" here on FP.
