Bearing Burner's Swap Meet

Just to get out of the house, a buddy of mine and I went to the Bearing Burner's Car Show and Swap Meet at the Knight of Columbus picnic grounds on 21 Mile Road in Utica  yesterday. Didn't find much to buy, however, I did photograph somethings I thought you guys might enjoy. It was mostly a Chevy, Ford, and Mopar swap meet but I did find some interesting Pontiac stuff.

These steering wheels are role reversals in my book.

The bottom steering wheel is like what I had on my old Vega. Chevy introduced this steering wheel on the Vega, and then put it on the Camaro, Chevelle and Corvette. Now this is a Pontiac wheel - probably from an Astre or Sunbird wheel - which were sister cars to the Vega.

The top wheel is identical to the original wheel that came on Lucy and a plethora of other classic Pontiacs in the 70s. However, it says "Malibu" on it. A Pontiac wheel on a Chevy? Wow!

Here is a bunch of cool wall art:

Anybody need a GTO front end as wall art?

For some reason I thought of Fitzy when I saw this pair of gages lying there. I didn't bother to see what the asking price was. I figured it would be stupid money.

Sure just put salt in the wound.

So telling you that I am doing my first car show of the season with the Roadmonster is like pounding, and pounding, and pounding salt and Bactine into the wound? Especially since Canuckistan is still under federal and provincial lock downs because of a lack of vaccines, common sense, and leadership! COVID numbers in Ontario and Quebec are still pretty high.

Just for that you have to buy breakfast the first day I can make it over.

Done deal but the pretty smelling and cute looking missus comes along too! You are still not allowed out of country without adult supervision.

Oh, and poutine will NOT be served!
