mirror visors

how hard is it to change a visor from non-light to a lighted one? i also have a pair from an 06 G6(non-light)

and a lighted from an 06 Impala LTZ :lol2::rofl:

It's all about wiring up the lights to a secure 12 volt source, grounds, and setting up a switch.

:agreed: Shouldn't be too difficult but I wouldn't say its a beginners task. Good intermediate modification due to all the places you will have to go to hide wire, install battery, etc...

ok soo the G6 mirror latches are longer and dont fit. :rofl:

i improvised, i removed the actual mirror/plastic part from one and installed it to the other.

:rofl: will come soon :)

Very nice, but be careful, the G6 visors are notorious for losing their ability to stay up...
