noice!!!! you need to fix that exhaust leak big time. its laggin your car back a little. but then again, the car is a work in progress. :indian:

you can hear that turbo as well. also, the injectors are pulsing a slight but off from what i thought i heard. also, look into an aftermarket FPR and a 255lph fuel pump. adjust the fuel pressure to the amount of boost ur running. you can find some good info on dsmtalk.com. thats heaven for dsm'rs

The headers are welded but still leak a little

Turbos actually boosting

That maybe it was driving better and it idled for awhile and got drive. Computer changed it way of thinking

FPR?? and it has a 255 Fuel Pump

yeah. you are going to need the fpr to regulate your fuel. thats why your injectors sounded weird when they were pulsing. check ebay. you can find some cheap ones with gauge for now and just regulate it to stock pressure. i can't remember the stock pressure off the top of my head but i can check my manuals and guides if you want...

your not bein a pain. thats what we are here for.

as for the fpr, looks legit. now here is the problem... its not bad but you are going to have to make a custom bracket for the FPR. the difficult part is finding a good place to mount it. other than that, that FPR looks good.

  • 2 weeks later...

Went to a place called Boomba racing for a free boost leak test

They found

Headers

Intercooler piping

plastic screw on T/B

THey also said the aftermarket FPR was not needed bc of the stock one. They said it will run to lean with it bc it wont adjust for boost? They said the electronic is only for cold starting....

SO today nick and I fixed the piping took out FPR changed my wheels, tighened everything up. The car was boosting harder not like it sohuld but its better next stop i guess is headers?

What should I get(need something cheep yet decent)?

Maybe I sohuld replace the stock FPR?

We pulled out the computer no DSM link or anything but the PO was alright in there. It was starting to corrode which maybe causing problems also.

May have been worth it to just keep the 6 and found a way to make payments on it because it sounds like things like this are gonna happen for awhile till you find a gem in a rough or can just flat out afford a nice vehicle.

Which any of these option are gonna require some good money.
