It's a very hit or miss kind of thing for quality buying them online, more cost does not mean more quality... so far I have found some terrible ones, the best I have found for the money is what I currently use, I run one forwards and one facing back, and if i am doing anything really stupid I run 4 of them... at the very least we will have multiple angles of how I went out! LOL My dad is a trucker and I got one for him now too.

With Chev trucks the grill is unchanged from 48-53, as are the fenders doors and box, in 54 they got the 55-66 style box that has a flat top edge VS the tapered edge in previous years. To identify years is easy on these too, 48 has a vent door on the passenger side of the cowl, all other years have louvers, till 49 they had twist door handle, 50 and new has pushbutton, 48-49 has one piece side glass, the rest have a vent window, 48-53 has a 2 piece flat glass windshield, 54 is 1 piece curved. There are no differences at all between a Chev and a GMC other then the grills, tailgates and some trim. Having owned all 3 of the big 3 in this year range and currently still having 3 52 Dodges (other then the grill and dash they are the same as the 50) I don;t really understand what people have against the Dodges, they rust less, they are tough as nails, and they are bigger inside then the Ford and Chev, so if you like havibng passengers or are a big guy like me they are nice. Also parts are cheap!

80's S10 frames are weak and like to rust, even where I live and hardly anything rusts, S10 frames rust through. The original chassis is a lot better then the S-10 and the parts are readily available practically anywhere, plus the aftermarket is massive for those trucks and there are tons of IFS, IRS and other suspension kits available for them. The guy not being able to sell the truck throws up some red flags for me. I build hot rods and do restorations and I know this stuff, but it's all up to you in the long run. I honestly think you could get a decent truck that might be a better builder cheaper if you look... I just finished a 56 Chev a couple weeks ago, full cost of the project was $2100 but the owner did not want the paint done. Pluss I built my 36 GMC for less then $2000. (also without paint)

To everyone having to deal with fucktards who can't drive, for some time now I have had a dash cam... recently though I now have 4 dash cams... it may seem rediculous, but having video with sound from all directionsseems to be the only way to protect myself from idiots these days... I have caught people trying to randomly kill me on my single dash cam before, taken it to the poice and had them say there is nothng they can do... I even showed the cops this video of a psycho passing me on the shoulder and trying to take me out... I have it on video, I had 3 very credible witnesses and myself and the polic tell me it's my work against the idiot that did it... So now more cameras... an added benifet to the cameras is they record sound very well, so if I ever get pulled over by another power mad cop (hasn't happened for years lukily) I will have the bastard on film and be able to share it with the world! The cameras I am using are these with some high speed 32 GB SDHC cards. Not too bad IMHO. No I got a very fast reply and lots of help, it was great! The problem was I still could not log in, deleted my cookies and ate my muffins and all that jive, even tried 2 other computers and it still would not log in... then I tried fb and that worked... for seconds to minutes each time I tried... Tonight I thought I want to try again just to try to get into the callendar again, and it worked! YAY!

So 2 months ago I came on to my enclosed porch (which has a cat door on the side) and this tiny black kitten was sleeping on a shelf... I reached over and touched him and he was very weak, told me to F off, and walked to the end of the shelf and fell off behind some boxes... took me some effort to get him out but he was feral and wanted nothing to do with me... I put some food out and left. When i got home that night i could tell he had not touched the food at all, and I could not find him so I figured he had left, the next morning there he was asleep on the shelf again, so I grabbed him this time finding him to be even weaker. So I brough him inside the house and triued to give him food... but he was very young and small and had no idea what to do wit it... so I made some pablum and helped him to figure out what to do with it. Later that day I found his sister a torti on my porch, she figured out the eating thing right away, both kittens were very small and very wild... The next day I found a Calico female on my porch, she was hard to catch, but i got her and put her inside with food in my storeroom with the other 2. I then searched the entire neighbourhood for more kittens, there was only one pregnant female cat I had known of out here and I went to the farm where she lives and non of her kittens (who were all white) were missing... after my search I figured it was just the 3 of them that got dumped off. 2 more days passed when I came out and spotted a tiny black kitten with a lot of his fur missing, he had no body fat, just skin and bones... he was so scared but I was able to catch him, and even though he was biting hard into my hand, making me bleed like a stuck pig, I brough thim in and pryed him off of me. He would not eat though, and he was sick and weak, I resorted to force feeding him food and water. We didn't think he's live more then a few days... But he pulled through, and after 1 1/2 months of work he is now socialable and quite the gorgeous kitten, his fur has grown back and he has put on a lot of weight, the new fur is no longr black but a salt and pepper look I have never seen before. I got the Calico a home, the black male and the female torti are still with me so far, but i am keepin the little guy that was so far gone, I named him Rory! This little guy has the coolest attitude, and he is so easy going!

I have been trying on and off for many months to log into the site with no success... using the lost password form and contacting the site, trying from different computers, logging in from Facebook would work for about 15 seconds... and tonight I tried the lost password form again and it actually accepted it! Now for those that do not recall me... I have a 1931 Pontiac 401 Sport Sedan that I daily drive as much as I can, and a 36 GMC I drive more then anything, my Pontiac was in the last callendar too. And I have a 1950 Canadian Pontiac Ex-navy Ambulance

I never got to see it still, my buddy in Oregon saw it and said it was a farce as all their facts were really wrong (as always) and it was a really really cropped version of my photo for a couple seconds... oh well still cool and they say the might use more of mine... if they follow through that would be kinda cool! For those who asked, they found the photo on Flickr and asked me if they could use it, it was for free becuase most productions do not pay for small things like this, I was told I got a thanks in the credits... I would love to see that.

Aparently on American Pickers tonight on the history channel the guys find a 1928 Chevrolet Roadster and they are using one of my photos for one of those fact things that pop up during the show. Hopefully the fact they post is actually an accurate one... they are not exactly known in car circles for getting anythign regarding cars right... LOL But I look forward to this if only to inflate my ego! LOL

Nerf gun was the best part! Glad to hear you are okay, I was in a coupld of bad accidents a few years back, neither one was my fault and I got all of the injuries and damage... last one was in 08 and I still hurt from it. Take it easy, you might have soft tissue damage and it can not show up for days.

I have one of those.... it's 25 years old... it will stick to the wall but is almost useless for anything that is not just loose on the surface. The Jail scene was a cute touch!
