Does it have the section in the dash for the cutout? You'd need to install the mirror and servo. Wire the display to display the turn signals, radio, MPH, ect. I do believe you also need a special windshield that has some reflective property. I don't know the specifics of the HUD in the Torrent. Sometimes GM puts these cars together using one layout and just adds stuff according to the trim, which makes adding other trim items easy. Example would be adding fog lights from the GT and GXP Grand Prixs into the base model.

Yeah Bradley is a large airport with a small airport feel. Its isolated from Hartford and Springfield and isn't basically in a City like most. They don't have to deal with the same congested hustle and bustle so everything goes smoother. Thats how I look at it atleast.

If the switch is sending voltage to the motor then I don't know why Its not working. Did you check for voltage when you pressed both up AND down? I'm just throwing stuff at the wall here.

I think the GTO could have been styled meaner. I would hands down take a G8 over a GTO simply because of that front end. It was a true muscle car though. I always get sad when I think about how Pontiac finally found the brake but couldn't stop the train before going off the cliff. I hope one day I can find a G8 for myself. Keep an eye on the Low-beam headlamp relay in the fusebox. There have been a few issues with them getting hot and burning out, and in my case: catching on fire. Nice car though. I could have fixed it lol. Welcome to the club!

I've never done parking personally because I live so close i can get a ride to/from. Parking has different options. Theres daily and weekly rates and those depend on what lot you go to. There is a garage and there are various other long-term lots some close to the terminal and others with shuttle services to the terminal. Depending on what your flight times are (if you need to get up wicked early or you return late) or if you get f*cked with some delay you can crash at my place. I live 25 minutes from Bradley.

The headlight relay in the fuse box burned up. I put it out before it spread beyond the fusebox. GM offered me $3600 to take it or theyd fix it completely free of charge. I decided to take my chances with the money. You know, funny thing is that my GP (with the 3.8 N/A) felt like it had more giddy up, but now that I actually thinkg about it the GXP just feels more sluggish because the acceleration is so smooth. I think I'm going 30 and I look at the speedometer and its pushing 50 and Im like "wtf?, no way I'm going that fast"

Ive flown out of bradley a million times. Getting through security is wicked easy. Look up the dimensions allowed for a carry on for starters. In the line have your boarding pass and ID ready. After take your shoes, belt, sweatshirt/coat/ect off place them in a bin or two. Take everything out of your pockets and put them in a bin. Laptops and shit have to be separate. You can take a 1qt size bag of various fluids no larger than 3.4oz. Basically put your travel toiletries in ziplock. You need to take those out of your carry on and put those in a bin on their own as well.

Transmission is apart. I feel like I'm too late in the year to do another transmission tear down. I will replace the shifter rail bracket from my current transmission so at least I will have a original bracket instead of the bush league repair.

Is this after the initial warm up of the car? First thing I'd do is check the carburetor and make sure it properly adjusted since its new and not OEM
