  1. gagt you get Rock 102.1 out there? I know their range is insane. They're classic rock and have started playing Pearl Jam. PEARL JAM. Thats not classic rock! I guess even at 21 the times are kinda creeping up lol and I've still got a load of time to go!

  3. Thanks Frosty. No disappointment so far! Driving has become fun again. Its a 2005. 160xxx miles and its (as far as I know) never had the headbolt issue which, if it was going to happen, would pop up at like 80-100xxx The only issues I've found so far is 1 2 3 on the radio has the backlights burnt out just like my Grand Prix haha and like 3 of the dash\steering wheel buttons are flaking a bit from being pressed so much over the years. Interior is immaculate. Just as good as the exterior. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
  4. Theyd probably worry about it competing with their flagship brands... again. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
  5. Did a wash and wax today because I have a 3 day weekend which means no driving on any farm roads for a while. She won't get dirty within minutes lol.
  6. Thanks 87. I was super lucky to find it. I still can't get over how nice this car is. I just washed and waxed it. Its just a damn good looking car. Wheels are probably my favorite thing about the exterior I wish the arrow head on the front wasn't faded. It really bothers me. Phoenix was the same way when I got her and it was the first thing I replaced, but that was a bolt-on not a stick-on Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk

  9. Its the KBB VIN lookup. Safe to assume oil changes were done lol
  10. Bonnie was whining on the way to work. Power steering. Checked the level on my lunch break and it was at the very bottom of the dipstick. Where did it all go? I don't know, but one bottle of Valvoline High Mileage PS Fluid + Stop-leak later and the problem disappeared. Polished the wheels because why not? Also took the car on the highway for the first time with me behind the wheel. Cruise control works, no shimmy at high-speed. No noises, very smooth and quiet ride. For a car with 163xxx miles it sure doesn't seem like it. Changed the oil in it yesterday too. PO used synthetic, but its an 8qt oil change (dat Northstar sump doe) and synthetic is overkill. Went back to Valvoline 5w-30 conventional. Its much cheaper because its the exact same oil I put in the Phoenix and the Super A. I buy in bulk. Also stuck an ACDelco oil filter on because I'm a fanboy. Its about 3 inches deeper than the one I replaced which was odd.
  11. Highschool today doesn't teach you sh*t. Like, my financial literacy class was an elective. Majority of my class didn't even know how to fill out a check. (Graduated in 2012) There should be like a 'basic home skills' class. Balance a check book, change a tire, writing a resume. That kinda stuff. Highschool only sets you up for college and the value of a diploma in the workforce these days is a joke which is sickening because college prices are outrageous and most kids can't afford it. lol I got into this laughable argument on facebook between some woman and Chris (Chaos) + Me a while back. She was defending her poorly maintained car because shes "broke". We basically told her that basic shit like changing your own oil or not slamming on brakes, or "jackrabbit" starts, not shifting between Drive/Reverse while rolling, ect can severely increase the life of your vehicle and reduce maintenance costs (or at least reduce the frequency). She played the ignorance card and we told her the irony was that she was on the internet, a vast database of all sorts of knowledge at your fingertips.
  12. Yeah I am. I just can't help at laugh at that. How can you just 'forget' to turn the car off?? This is why highschools need to have a mandatory basic automotive class or something. The disconnect between man(women) and machine these days is disturbing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
  13. So whats the deal with Dex-Cool? I'm just curious. The GP never needed it. Anyways, the new Bonnie is weirding me out because it has 160xxx miles on it, but shows absolutely zero signs of any of the famous Northstar issues. I've been on PontiacBonnevilleClub.com and I've seen some posts with people running into the headgasket issue at like 90-100K miles. I guess I'm just pondering things about my new car. I haven't looked at the accident report, but I know what was replaced just be looking at the car. Driverside front quarterpanel, you can see paint overspray inside the door jam which isn't present on the passenger side. Happened at like the 40K-ish mark so I'm not really concerned because its gone this many miles since then. Also looks like the car went for service every 30-40K miles. Could it be the car was just babied that much?
  14. Thanks guys! I was thinking just White because the red will most likely be a non matching red and I know that would bother me. White looks good on any color
  15. OKay so question. What color "Forever Pontiac" decal should I get for the rear window? The Phoenix has a red one. But since this car is red... I'm not sure whats really accents it.
  16. Welp. I finally got her home. LOVE IT! Drives like my Grand Prix but the exhaust sound is more fun
  17. What did i just read? Hahahaahhahahaha... wait im not done..... hahahahahahahhahahahshsh Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk

  19. Awesome! Welcome. What part of the Northeast you from?
  20. Well I just covered the belt in conditioner when it was off. Didn't spray it while It was on because its a mess lol. I was hoping the brake fluid would find its way to the leak, oh well. More work Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
