  1. i'd be beatin someone upside the head for that. the bumper has to be replaced. that sux man!
  2. sometimes, they do tend to do that because your MAF isn't programmed to read all the air that you can suck in with an aftermarket intake compared to the stock. thats what sux about new cars. everytime you get a part, you have to tune it for the car if not, here come the problems.
  3. thnx! i should have some more pix up today with the TV powered on
  4. ill have my friend download it. doesn't look like it'll be that amazing in theaters. HAHAHAHAHAHA

  7. lol. yeah. i have a friend with a nice black 3g out there in sierra vista. im still trying to remember if i have met you in person cuz the name sounds familiar. i know i have you on cardomain. lol
  8. thnx! yeah we have been around for 3 and a half years in phoenix
  9. i actually had to purchase a 400watt inverter. the 110v outlet couldn't run the TV but could run the Playstation. ill post pix up tomorrow of the inverter. im trying to find a nice way to hide it other than under the extra trunk compartment behind the seats. as for the alarm, i actually do not have one. i would think its very hard to steal the stuff since its all mounted and people want PS3's now a days and dont want PS2's. lol. well.. the area that i live in isn't bad. more old people around and all the crazy stealing is on the west side of phoenix. i will be installing one as soon as tax return comes in. just dont want a cheap one that goes off from the sound of a fart can.
  10. oh the skirt. lol. it came from the factory with my car. i didn't choose it. i think most of the 06 with power everything came with them because the other one i was looking at before purchase, didn't have that and also was all manual windows and door locks.
  11. what do you mean by rockers. and thnx!
  12. I drive a 2006 Pontiac Vibe that i purchased brand new from the dealership in Harlingen TX. The car was originally supposed to be a straight family car since I had my 97 Eclipse GS show car and my 1990 Eclipse GSX. I then had to sell my 2 eclipse's to support my family which is more important. I am married with 3 kids. I then started to get a little bored with the vibe and finally started to mod it. I have found a whole load of parts for the car and most of them coming from its sister car, the toyota matrix. I have had some trouble with the car but definitely enjoy the comments of "Nice Car! Thats very different!" People out here in AZ don't really see modded vibes and they are impressed so i am still continuing on modding the car out to a nice show car. Maybe ill turbo it someday....
  13. just finished wiring up the 400watt power inverter in the trunk. FINALLY! lol. tested out my tv with the playstation and things are workin. oh yeah!
  14. i did this with a friend but we did the double in my 97 Eclipse. looking forward to watching this thread
  15. the intakes always depend on what you have but in the long run, unless you dont have a MAF, don't get cheap intakes.
  16. nice wheels guys! I like the wheels on the G8. looks sexy. as for me: I have 18"x7.5" Modwheels GFO2 Rims with 225/40/18 Kuhmo Ecsta AST tires.
  17. I bought one of the cheaper intakes for my car and that messed up my MAF. since the MAF sits at the top of the stock intake box, i figured thats how the intake would come. well.. the MAF ended up sitting almost upside down because of the intake. throughout time, my car started acting really funny. ended up going in to limp mode and wouldn't let me rev passed 3k RPM. my friend and i thought it was one of the o2 sensors so i replaced bank 1 o2 sensor and still the same problem. we started playing around with the intake while the car was on and found that when we flipped the intake pipe back up where the MAF was sitting more of the way the stock intake sat it, it allowed me to rev passed 3k RPM. well.. i had to end up replacing the MAF because i found out that their is some sort of grease or fluid that is on the little sensor needle that ended up drying off since the MAF was upside down. thats what caused the MAF to blow out. once i replaced the MAF and installed the stock intake, problem solved. if you have the MAF that is like the stick going through the intake, make sure you look for an aftermarket intake that sits the MAF the same way and not upside down.
  18. that hood wouldn't look too bad. i kinda like it.
