  2. Dang ya'll hard on lil ole me and I'm a nice guy dang!!! lol !! By the way here is a pic of the tranny. It's a Southern Hot Rod's War Viking Tranny.
  3. Stratman sorry to hear about your loss of your loved one. Just give a shout it ya ever need anything.
  4. Frosty like I have always stated. You are the "Pontiac Guru" And yes you need to do a book.
  5. you get a free set of ginsu knife set !! Pro - go out and get you a snowcat and use it all year round. Put wheels on it in spring, summer, and fall. Then in winter put the tracts back on it. Leave the plow on it all year round for slow car removal tool.
  6. I have 2 friends that do decals. They made the ones on the wing. All the others were from sponsors of the events and actual sponsors.
  7. Frosty - your almost right on the number and correct on the license plate. Since the car is an 08 challenger srt8 limited edition first number 08= year 2023 is the limited edition number. Now, about those kill hash marks I haven't put those on as of yet. They are coming really soon!! But, no squirrels as of yet!! Pro - you would not believe just how many times that booger was purged and vacumed to make sure all air was out. And it was done at the track as well. Ringo - I knew you had a twisted mind like my LOL!! Justa - I have a few cameras that home in on a beacon in the car that takes video but, I can pull single shots from it as well. And it helps to have a few friends with cameras out there to take pics for you as well LOL!! But, I usually run around 6 cameras in or out of the car and 3 setup at different locations on the track. That camera that I use to track the car is called SOLOSHOT3 check it out it's really cool. I use it to film restoration projects for some shows that I'm gonna put on the internet. I already have 85 videos edited and ready to post. https://shop.soloshot.com/
  8. Okay, the above pics cool !! Some pics show my head light doors open to try to cool the car down some. Now, on the part with me in front of the vette. I was not trying to boil the tires the car was getting loads of traction but, it did boil the tires. granted it was a very hot day but, I was hot on the gas and smoked the tires a good long ways. Not intentional tho!! Now, on another shot I was on the throttle hard coming thru a turn and did some more smoking. Others where in the infield road course and main track. Now the below pics are of my wing. Now, we all know the Air Force emblem but, can ya tell me just what the numbers mean?? Also, for kicks and giggles I put an ACME sticker with wile e. coyote for laughs. Which led to something really cool. I'll save that story for later on. LOL!! But, I knew Pro would luv that sticker LOL!! Now, the question is: Did ya'll notice something on the rear of the car that was different. Not talking about the camera on the big wang!! Something else?????
  9. Well, I did see the GE light in the sky. I had to put it on hold tho. Been racing alot and working way too much. I'm finally back on a regular 8 hour day schedule and really been wondering what the heck is that bright light in the sky! Well, some person I want say his name Frosty said it was the sun!! Not sure on that since sunlight does strange things to a snowman !!! Anyhoo, yeah I put new tranny in car along with one of my standby engines which is bigger than the last motor that was in the car. Traded the old P1 supercharger from the show back to procharger and for a much bigger one an F1. So, boost is way up there now along with compression and hp and that thing which kills your back when you hit the wild pedal called Torque lol !! I finished with the cars new build about 8 hours before the race at charlotte. The car with it's new motor and trans only had dyno time on it with no miles on it. So, I only had 20 miles one the car when I reached the track for racing. What a way to shake down a car huh !! I did have some over heating issues with the car from 215 up to 275 degrees. could not clear the issue at the track. But, I raced it anyway while keeping a very close eye on temp. I only did about 3 laps per session due to heat issues. Just for the problem to finally clear itself just a few days afterwards. I turned out to be a trapped air pocket that would not clear even after burping the motor and coolant system multiple times. It was actually funny. I was going down the road when I heard like a balloon pop which was the air pocket finally releasing and temp went from 215 down to 175. This car on both days of racing kicked so hard it actually made my back and neck sore just from getting on the gas. Yes, I was strapped in tight with harness and with hans device on.
  10. Pro actually it is the intercooler that he installed that I had to come back and install it properly.
  11. Well here's some pics with the nose off and empty engine bay. Pro - Yeah I was. Now gonna push it more hehe!! Ringo - Nope no deer burgers lately Justa - Thanks it's always fun racing!!
  12. I also road course, autocross, and land speed race mine. Okay, it's a dodge but I do have gm's I just don't race them lol !!
  13. Okay, I've been a bit busy the last month. I raced in the FM3 cars and cones event which went from charlotte, nc, to outside Knoxville, tn to Bowling green, KY at corvette track, then to louisville and lewisville, ky then to jasper, in. It was fun and had a blast until I had an electrical glitch that killed my program in the cars ecm. So, Holley helped me out getting that straightened out. But, it was a blast and I'm gonna do the same event next year. Well, since then the engine, tranny, and K member have been yanked out of the car along with the supercharger. Just to throw another one is that's just a bit bigger on cuin and hp and torque along with changing out the supercharger. Along with that I've been busy building and making body mods for the car. All of this is in prep for the july 30-31 running again at charlotte for the ultimate street car challenge which will be shown on mavtv. I was asked yesterday by the King why my nose on the car was off and he asked if I had hit another deer lol !! I had to tell him not lately just those 3 so far lol !!
  14. Collindpyle welcome to FP!! Also, you might want to check out http://www.speedwaymotors.com They have various types of kits that work great and they are cheaper on price than some others venders. You can call them and they will tell you the best system for your needs. With that being said, you might want to consider changing out your old brake lines due to copper build up and age depending on just how old yours are along with flex lines from your hard points to wheels.(yearone has prebent kits that work great for this part of the project. Now, with that on to the power steering most standard GM pumps will work great and most were the same from the mid 60's to early 90's with the exception of hose attachment points and mounting points from various GM models be it pontiac, chevy, olds, or buick. Now, your steering gear box they are plenty as well with the exception of mounting points to the frame which varied from different models but only by a fraction. Also, on the brakes you'll end up getting a brake booster and new master cylinder. It's best to pre-bleed the master cylinder or prime it before installation. (it will save you alot of time) Also, with the brakes especially on the rears after you remove the old drum brake system in which sometimes you need to remove the axle to remove the back plate for the drum brakes. Or an easy way is to simply cut them off to keep from removing the rear axle. Once you mount your rear disk to your axle retain it with a lug nut then slide the caliper on the disk. What this will do is help you align the support mount bracket for the caliper. Bolt the caliper to the mount then mark the axle where it meets it and clean the paint and grime off the axle and weld it to the axle. Always remember to please disconnect your battery before doing any welding on your car. It will save your battery and any electronics that you may have connected to your car.
  15. I like using map gas as to propane for lil portable torches which gets stuff hotter than propane at a faster rate. I use both and they work great. I do like induction heaters. They just take longer to get things rolling unless you have a good coil type which works great and fast. Either way things get hot and watch out fer ya fangers!!
  16. not sure as of yet I'll post it when it comes out !!
  17. Oh dang I forgot about that dang it !! lol
  18. Okay, this is actual news not crazy talk but, some may thank so. I was in a photo shoot for Mopar Magazine !! Okay, let me correct this. My Challenger will be in Mopar Magazine. So ya'll get lucky and don't get to see my ugly mug and ruin everyones day by being sick. This was done at Mopars at the Rock this past weekend. Woo Hoo!!
  19. Dang ya'll hard on lil' ole GE and his stumpwater dang !! I'll just take my jug back in the house now. Ya'll no fun lmao !! Wait til I see Notallthere. I'll tell him ya'll want a lap dance lmao !!
  20. Okay, the hawk didn't catch it in the air lol !! I added that ! But, he grabbed up that booger when it hit the ground and bounced lol !!
  21. Now, your gonna have to find that dang ole yeller brick road and find the wizard again to get a new one lol !! Well, I'd open it and drink it and let Notallthere have some cause it'll burn that hair off from the inside out. Well, had an interesting day. I was goofing around in the garage after repairing paint on a friends fender. I saw a lil mouser come in the garage and I cornered the beast. Then I was thinking should I put out my 18000 volt mouse eliminator to catch him, or just standard mouse trap. Then I had a brain zapp. I pulled out the wet vac, cranked that puppy up and sucked his arse in it. So, now as you realize he's running around all dazed and confused as to what just taken place. Then I noticed something over there in the corner that hadn't been used in a while and collecting dust. Yup you got it !! It's the ole tator cannon!! So, I pulled it out and starting mounting it. I charged the cannon then installed packing and in goes the mouser. Well, I fired it off and launched that sucker out comes the mouser over the house over the trees and into the talons of a hawk that was just skerd by the sound for an easy caught lunch. My fun was done for the day. It was funny as to how it all worked out. Heck I can't think up crazy stuff like this !!
  22. Interesting !! And ya'll say I drink stumpwater !!
