  3. I got antsy and threw 3 coats of wax at them and hit it with my low speed buffer. There much smoother to the touch now and maybe a tiny tiny tad lighter. They look much more finished & shiny but I'm still thinking I need some light compound. But not today....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yea a bit darker than I wanted but I had to to make them match. I'm hoping they'll lighten up a bit after I polish them. We'll see in a couple of days when there dry enough to do so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. All done not counting a good polish to shine them up. Sorry for the iPhone pics. THere darker than they use to be but should lighten up after they get polished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yea I'll have to buff them for sure but I'll let them dry up for a couple of days first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yea I have two light coats on the new one and one on the old one. I'm thinking the old one will need one more coat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. ‎16,898 g6 gt coupes in 2006 and mine is 1 of 1(0.006%) with my options and only 25 (0.148%) others that year have as many options as I do but diff options. If this is accurate that's pretty cool!
  15. That poor car! I know you beat the hell out of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I took my 81 Monty to the prom too and yea all the other chumps took limos..... I just got it out of the body shop having the outside completely re-done, new rims and I had done a bunch of other stuff. I was so proud and excited to take her to the prom. O and I was happy to take the date too.... lol ...... Do it !!!! two dates and the Phoenix ooooooo the stories that would come out of that!!!
  17. Yea I pulled on the tie rods when the car was in the air and there fine. As well the drivers side control arm / ball joint has no play in it at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The inner and outer tie rods on both sides were replaced at 35k under warrantee. Only one side was bad but the dealer said that's like buying only one shoe. So the did both, it just dident make sense to them to do half a job. I was not going to argue the point since it was a warrantee job. And yes Chris the arm is aluminum and they said you cant put new ball joints in them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Got some bad news today. Before the wreck I have had a small noise in the front end but really dident give it much thought. Well it has grown to a full blown noise. I brought it into the dealer and the drivers side ball joint is wasted. The lower control arm and ball joint is all one part on the g6's. Of course they dident have one on stock so they ordered it. Thursday the 6 is going in to be fixed as well as a 4 way alignment. I guess I can't complain 72k and her first major thing that has broken. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I love that 1st pic!¡!¡!¡! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. it's a bitch to get at the battery & rad cap plus a couple other things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
