So my dad had mentioned that the car had been shifting kinda hard when I first got it back. I told him I would drive it and what not see if i noticed it. Well I have noticed it but have not had time to post. it seems 1st to 2nd is ok little hard. 2nd to 3rd really hard. 3rd to 4th somewhat hard. they are not the nice smooth shifts I had gotten when the car was brand new. there is only 20,000 on the car. Under low RPM shifting less the 2K they are the way i stated. If you have it shift around 3-4K its better but not completely

Any ideas?

Since it's 20K, change the trans fluid and filter, can't hurt.

Any SES codes? My trans shifted really hard when I forgot to connect my IAT sensor on my short ram once. Gave off a code. That's a possibility.

no codes ill throw the scanner on just to check in a litle bit but no mods its all stock

It's probably not gonna throw any codes your OBDII scanner is going to pick up. The trans has it's own module and stores its own codes (thanks GM... ). I have a very similar problem, and the dealer is probably going to tell you the same thing they told me, "It's no different than any other G6 we've driven."

When i hit a huge ass bump my trans shifts unlike i've ever felt anything shift before. Shut it off for a while then start it up again and it works fine.

And chris wtf? 20k... I got 91k and still running stock filter and fluid. Doing it every 20k miles is just a waste of money.

Why not? Technically, the interval is 35-40K. It's not good to never change it though.
