Body mounts for a '65

Featured Replies

New to this and need a little help.

Anyone have an idea on the correct size body mount for a '65 Bonneville? Ames shows about six styles with different hole diameters and either a 2" or 3" bolt to secure. They recommend taking the old ones out to measure which in theory is completely logical but reality and time state otherwise. They are completely mashed and frozen. I know I need fourteen of them. Any previous ideas or experience with this kind of project is greatly appreciated-Thanks

Check OPG for a complete kit.  There is a difference in vert frames and hardtops. Verts are much more HD. Ask OPG tech.

Easiest to pull N check would be the rears @ the bumper.  Don't be surprized when you get the body up and some of the mount holes on the frame have rusted. They do make replacement washers or you can make your own and weld in to fix.
