sam0806
I'm searching for small chrome exhaust tips similar to factory ones on a 442 I owned. As I recall, they were only about a half inch wide and just rolled around the very end of the pipes. Any suggestions on where to find such tips??? Thanks, Sam
havoc1482
Were they trumpet exhaust tips? What year was the 442?
[ChaosweaveR]
eBay would be a good start to start finding sources.
Frosty
If you are looking for stock style tips for a 4-4-2 then YearOne, Original Parts Group, Paddock Parts and other Cutlass/442 catalogs should have then. Waldron's Exhaust specials in exact, concurs correct exhaust systems, I'd be surprised if they didn't have them. If you are looking to move up to a performance exhaust, bigger than stock, try either Pypes or LMPerformance. As Havoc said, what is the style and/or year of 442 you are looking to imitate? notallthere
Didn't Paddock Parts go belly up?
havoc1482
It is a 1966 4-4-2. Non-trumpet type. 2in slanted cut ends.
Frosty
Here are a couple of options. I think the YearOne option is closer to what you are looking for. http://waldronexhaust.com/cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=373_378 https://www.yearone.com/Catalog/1964-72-cutlass-442/exhaust/pipes_mufflers/exhaust-tips-and-tip-hangers
