I've never encountered a school computer that good and I'm getting my masters in Software Engineering :lol: The computers we have in our lab barely run the SSH client or Microsoft Vs we use to program.

Something tells me they have tracking software on it and it's bogging down under the pressure or something is messed up. Check your processes for abnormally large files being ran.
