I'm looking for suggestions on a kill switch to increase security for my Lemans. Also if anyone has recommendations for alarm systems that they have used, I'd really appreciate it.

There are two specific things you can do that will effectively protect your car & are hard to bypass without specific knowledge. I have run both of these together on many of my cars. 

The first one uses a momentary switch & a 12v relay. You take the neutral safety switch wires into one side of the 12v relay & the momentary switch on the other side. The momentary goes under the dash on the left side. When you start the car you hold in the momentary while you turn the key to start the car. Without pushing in the momentary switch the car won’t start.

Additionally I take the glove box container out & modify it. I use .025 thick aluminum & make a box that attaches to the container. So basically a hidden compartment that is accessible through the glove box. I make a Velcro attached aluminum door that closes off the hidden compartment. I cover the entire inside with black felt & spray on contact glue. This makes the access door nearly invisible. 

In this hidden compartment is a push button switch, basically on/off. You run the ground wire of the coil in one side & out the other. If the switch is in the off position the car will not start.

Most security systems are not worth the money! People are accustomed to hearing them no one really pays attention. Most that use process to stop the car from starting are more trouble than they’re worth. At the end of the day if a thief wants your car specifically, they’ll get it. If they’re just looking to steal a car & you make it difficult, they’ll pass.
