Friday was a pretty un productive day but I got my flywheek all marked up and ready to be sloteted to fit to the tourqe converter on my th350, and I got the underside of my hood fogged down in black, on Saturday I finished sloting the flywheel and bolted the motor and trans back together ready for install, I got the seat back in so I could start mocking up the ammo box I'm using as a center console and got the brakets started.

While the engine is still out, you might consider changing the crankshaft position sensor to a new one.  It gets a lot harder to do once the engine is in, starter has to come out, etc.  Same kinda' but less so for the camshaft position sensor at the center rear top of the motor - you will be laying on your stomach to reach it later.

I'd also take a look at the timing chain at this point for looseness.   The oil pump pickup tube o-ring should probably get replaced as these get brittle with age and will eventually suck air - and not oil.

Front and rear main seals . . . . ???

What are you going to use for an oil pan? If that is an LS truck motor, the pan will hang too low for use in any car - not enough ground clearance.  I'm using a Holley 302-5 oil pan to solve that problem.  It also has good clearance with the steering drag link.

My motor mounts are the "Builders Kit" from the ICT Billet company.

Oil pan has been swapped out for a lower one and I will definitely look it over before she goes in and we made our own motor mounts

Hello Ryland,

 Excellent all!!

Take a quick measurement between the inside surfaces of your frame rails at the engine compartment.  My rails are 32 inches apart but this space is much narrower at the steering gearbox on the driver's side of the car.  This made the truck LS exhaust manifold hit the steering gear box which forced me to use an inexpensive set of shorty LS swap headers meant for a Chevy S10 truck - I needed maybe an inch more width to use the truck manifolds. No trouble at all on the passenger side.  Let me know if you want to go with a set of these from eBay at about 90 dollars because they are still selling these and they fit well.  Good welds, stainless steel and no leaks at the flanges. No beating on them to get them to fit and no bad words came out of my mouth to make these work.  Though, I do have to use a thin wall socket with the middle two spark plugs on both sides of the engine.

What are the colors of your PCM connectors? Tell me the colors, your tire height, your rear end differential ratio and your desired engine RPM - I will send you a Powertrain Control Module tuned, etc.  I will defeat the Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS), turn off all of the now irrelevant trouble codes and set your idle RPM.   Your TH350 transmission will be coded as a "non electric / manual" transmission.

All for free - no money and no HP Tuners credits required. This will be done with two different programs - Tuner Pro RT and PCM Hammer. I will also not password protect / tuner lock this tune and the junk yard PCM hardware around here is inexpensive - I think I have 7-8 of these PCM's sitting on a shelf around here.  I will tell you what got changed and you can edit it in the future in any way you desire with HP Tuners, EFI Live or Tuner Pro RT.

But you will at least have a PCM that will start the engine, idle correctly and operate the vehicle.

I really appreciate the offer but my trans isn't electric and we have already got an ECU that fires the motor and idles great, the motor has actually been in the car before and was only took out so I could do some painting and as for the exhaust, I have aftermarket manifolds that fit in there good, might not sound as good as headers and isn't to late to change them tho. I really appreciate the thought. I'm sure there is other stuff you could help with if you wanted (like a posi unit lol), that would be great but I just have no need for a PCM (a million dollars would also help)
