Feeling Pretty Good

So I put a new 180 degree thermostat (vs stock 195) in the Fiero today and wanted to road test it in preparation for a big cruise next weekend. I was just pulling out of my neighborhood when a young man, about 12, on a bike starts coming the down the hill I was going up and you could see the "what the heck is that?!" look on his face. We made eye contact and he gave me a nod of approval. As I looked behind me, his neck was twisted around still looking at my car. Nice! A new Fiero fan is born!

Then, I'm heading south on a back road and a guy in a truck heading north coming towards me starts frantically honking his horn. Then I see his arm stick way out with a big thumbs up. I waved back in appreciation.

It feels really good when that happens, but it was 2x today. I'm doubly happy.
