  1. I'm not a big fan of the Camaro based Trans Am conversions, but this one is actually pretty good. What do you think? https://www.hagerty.com/media/car-profiles/are-you-bandit-enough-to-hit-the-road-in-this-visionary-sixth-gen-trans-am/
  2. Wow, beautiful! My favorite gen of the GP and a sexy red Solstice GXP. Very nice. Welcome!
  3. Keith, congratulations on getting your car in this months Smoke Signals! Very nice article. For others that want to see it, it's in the April 2021 Smoke Signals, Member's Motors section, page 48-49.
  4. Love your Grand Prix GXP. Those cars are fabulous with such great style and power. Welcome!
  5. Welcome Chris. Nice to see another PNW Pontiac enthusiast on here. Maybe I'll see you at a show this year.
  6. Welcome! That is a beautiful color combination. I don't think I've seen that before and I wouldn't change a thing.
  7. YES!!! Another Fiero guy!! Welcome to board and glad to see you're saving so many Pontiacs and keeping the excitement alive.
  8. Thanks for sharing this Frosty. What an interesting video. I was hoping they would show the 1990 Fiero GT, but I guess it's not there right now. Thought I'd share that towards the end, they show the 1970 Pontiac Pegasus Concept Car. The production Pontiac Fiero was originally slated to be called the Pegasus, named after this car. At the last minute, the name was changed, but the badging had already been developed so the Pegasus remained on the Fiero badge! Folks sometimes ask about that at shows and that is the reason.
  9. Just found out the new owner is a well known and deserving Fiero enthusiast, Mr Fred Bartemeyer!
  10. The last Fiero ever built has just hammered for $90k!! Wow! Reserve came off around $65k if I remember correctly. Very exciting! GAA Classic Cars - 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
  11. Wow, your GP is gorgeous!! Welcome David.
  12. Welcome Todd. Beautiful car! My first Firebird was a 94 Formula in the same color. I LOVE that red and it was so much fun so that Firehawk must be 10x as much fun.
  13. Welcome Yvon. I love the wide whites! Great car.
  14. Welcome! Somebody likes GPs! I don't think Pontiac ever made an ugly one. I had a 2006 and I loved that car. My favorite is the 1990 McLaren Turbo GP Coupe with the rear buckets.
  15. Welcome Joel! Beautiful Lemans! I love the stance and the wheels. Really nice.
  16. Welcome! I'd recommend that you join your local chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI). The national club is a great resource as well and they have subject matter experts on specific models that can be of great help. Good luck with your project!
  17. So I put a new 180 degree thermostat (vs stock 195) in the Fiero today and wanted to road test it in preparation for a big cruise next weekend. I was just pulling out of my neighborhood when a young man, about 12, on a bike starts coming the down the hill I was going up and you could see the "what the heck is that?!" look on his face. We made eye contact and he gave me a nod of approval. As I looked behind me, his neck was twisted around still looking at my car. Nice! A new Fiero fan is born! Then, I'm heading south on a back road and a guy in a truck heading north coming towards me starts frantically honking his horn. Then I see his arm stick way out with a big thumbs up. I waved back in appreciation. It feels really good when that happens, but it was 2x today. I'm doubly happy.
  18. Welcome Nick. Ms Mary is very pretty!
  19. Welcome Alan. '67 is my favorite year for the GTO. I share your feelings on GM killing Pontiac. IMHO, GM hasn't been the same since which is why they continue to lose market share and produce bland vehicles. Sadly, I've given up on them. My hope is Mary Barra will get the axe and a real car guy will take the reigns, save the General and bring back Pontiac.
  20. I feel your pain. I'm pretty sure many here can relate to what you're going through. So frustrating! I'm looking forward to seeing those coming home pictures.
