Mate, if anyone needs some Space Cake, it's you. You could wash it down with another litre of that Swine Beer. Mmmm...swiney...
I was in Amsterdam MANY MANY years ago. It was en route to Munich's Oktoberfest. After that, I don't remember much at all.

And a few places we visited today around Amsterdam and Utrecht which is a 21 minute train ride out of Amsterdam
Came across this crazy lady !
Check out the pretzels !!
And it wouldn’t be Amsterdam without crazy cookies …. And lots more interesting drugs!!! , the smell reminded me of standing over the vents from the sub way in New York !!

I can only imagine. What did you cross ? 14 time zones going east?
I've only done 12 time zones. Detroit to Beijing in 2000. The thing that was harrd to remember since it is exactly 12 hours apart was if was it today or yesterday back home.
Haha , that’s why we have smart phones frosty ! I am 10 hours behind home and your 6 hours behind Amsterdam Monday

Lotsa cash involved and most of what you pay for is hidden from sight. Spent lotsa moola on new suspension & steering? Unless you crawl under the car, you'd never know! We all know that unless you've had the car forever and paid almost nothing for it initially, you're not going to make any money. Let's be honest - it's throwing money into a black hole. The way around this is to quantify those dollars as 'pleasure.' Yeah, I know. I also struggle with the concept of setting fire to money and getting apparent pleasure from it. Lots of peeps have an addiction - gambling, alcohol, drugs, whatever. If like me your addiction is an old car, you're doing fine in comparison to what you COULD be addicted to. And anyway, once you're tooling around in that nice Firebird, it'll be worth it. Kids these days will be raised on fuel economy and greenness instead of horsepower. We got lucky.
I will drink to that 🍻

7 hours ago, Frosty said:Just out of curiosity, what sort of things did you have to do to the Cortina to make the digital dash work with analog sensors, or did you have to replace the sensors too?
super easy mate, you buy all the sensors with the new dash, i had to make a adaptor for the ford speedo drive out of the 5 speed gear box to fit the speed sensor too, then its very much all plug n play i had 2 ports to fit temp sensor into so 1 for the dash and 1 for the ecu.
all the gauges have cad 4 plugs and all wire to the controller

Ah, Monty Python. They certainly nailed it with that little clip. The Autocrats vs the Great Unwashed. Not a lot has changed, except that the Great Unwashed now drive Pontiacs. Peel me another grape, Deirdre.
Haha @ where the commoner says, oh that’s the king , cause he hasn’t got shit on him …. So can relate that to today’s world !!!
