  1. Just a guess 170WHP, 190 crank HP. So about a 20HP gain over stock.
  2. Ok, to clear everything up. This was in my G6. My dad doesn't own a Vette, he drives actually fast cars. As for power I have no clue. When I get full bolt ons and a good tune, I will get dynoed.
  3. Well it is an LE5 powered, FWD Vette.
  4. Caught me! That was in my dad's Vette, LOL! Next time I'll get the dash in the background.
  5. It is nice to be driving a clean car again. Thanks.
  6. Take it in. When you get her back, check and make sure she's good. If they jack something up take her back in.
  7. It may need lube instead of replacing. Take a look at this thread. The writer works at at a dealership and knows his stuff. http://www.g6performance.com/forum/showthr...0931&page=1
  8. Thanks guys! Thats Mother's claybar Maguires rubbing compound Maguires polishing compound Mother's pre-wax cleaner Mother's paint sealer Mother's carnauba wax In the end my arm is sore. Also Mother's back to black and Armorall glass cleaner. Edit to add. I also pealed the pin stripe.
  9. Common problem, I'm to lazy to fix mine, and eventually the sound went away. No clue if thats a bad thing or not. Being an '08 I think it just needs lubed. The newer ones have to be replaced. I also think you can do this at home. Really you should wait for someone that has done their's to post, as my knowledge here is very limited.
  10. Before I broke the stud this was my project. I spent a couple of days on this.
  11. Not bad at all. Wheel studs are straight forward to do. Mine took me a bit of time, since it was my first time dealing with brakes, and not having the correct tool.
  12. You'd have two different spring rates, so the handling would suck, but nothing bad, the spring would still hold the car like normal.
  13. Worst part about the fix was one stuck bolt. I probably spent 30 minutes in that bolt. Bottom side of the bridge. New part was only $2, but the larger wrench for the damn bolt was $8.
  14. So I've been working on cleaning up the outside of the 6 for the last few days. Then I did something dumb, real dumb. BTW there is a difference between forward and reverse on an impact...... Broken stud. New stud. Jammed in there pretty well. Old versus new lugs. First time I've ever taken brakes off. Overall a very good learning experience. Also I was very happy that Oreilly's was able to supply new studs that are nearly identical to the old ones, plus my old key works. Now my lugs are mix and matched. . 19 spares just in case. The real question, what do you all think of ARP lug studs? Worth it or a waste?
  15. For some reason I was thinking it didn't, but I'd have to actually see one to tell. Unless someone has a picture of the suspension setup on one. This is what Google shows. I don't know how accurate it is though. \ http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/200...-pic-54314.jpeg It would seem like you might be able to do it though.
  16. Lol, someone's showing off their superior PS skills.
  17. But however will he find his thread?
  18. I've never done a wheel before.
  19. Mileage is mostly about how you drive, not what you drive. I have the LE5 and I get 22 city, if I behave I get 26 city.
  20. http://www.benzboost.com/attachment.php?at...mp;d=1305740223 Google tells all.
