  1. He was very slow. I see a lot of cars like this in the Tampa area... it's not the best part of town.
  2. Shiny! Your VIN should tell you if it's a GT, you could even Google it and get some basic info from CarFax.
  3. There is a 3rd gen T/A on 'The Office'... And... My car made it in to Transformers! 2009 Vibe GT:
  4. Currently... I am sorry to say... my T/A is rocking the rims too big for the tire look... sometimes previous owners sux.
  5. Dude... that is f'ed up I'd come back and haunt my family if they did that to my body.
  6. I got another one for you all... FHP: Driver In Deadly Ocala Crash Was Going 120 mph The Florida Highway Patrol released their report Monday in their ongoing investigation into a fatal crash in Ocala two weeks ago that killed five young men. FHP said authorities continued to interview dozens of people about the crash, but said what they did know was that the five men were inside a BMW M5 as it was going at speeds up to 120 mph down a runway at Jumbolair Aviation Estates. The report said the driver, Josh Ammirato, 18, was driving the car when it left the end of the runway and flew 200 feet through the air. Authorities said Ammirato hit the brakes for two to three seconds, the car veered sideways, overturned and became airborne. According to the report, the car then struck a fence and three trees. Ammirato and all four passengers were ejected from the vehicle. Ammirato and the front passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash; the other three passengers were not. The Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco have also joined the investigation, and were conducting a toxicology report to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash. Along with Ammirato, the four other young men involved in this fatal crash were Jacob James Casey, 19; James Devon Hime, 19; Dustin J. Dawe, 19; and Issac Rubin, 20. The driver was on a forum, just like this one, the link below is the members realizing that it was one of their own that died... http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60-m5-e6...a-5-killed.html
  7. Wha? Noting to say about the best team in baseball right now? GO RAYS!!!
  8. Armed and Dangerous: Tampa Bay Rays Are Wreaking Havoc in the AL Insurance claims agents stand by. Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago are in need of disaster relief. A tornado known as the Tampa Bay Rays has just laid waste to three stadiums in three different cities. Like a huge wrecking ball, the Rays have been demolishing anything in their path. It doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon. After a team-record 9-1 road trip, the Rays return home to face the Toronto Blue Jays. Matt Garza, looking like a early Cy Young contender, is seeking his AL-leading fourth win. Garza leads a rotation that boasts the best ERA in baseball. Garza and company are backed by one of the most dynamic lineups in the game—speed at the top, power in the middle, and no easy out at the bottom. Carl Crawford is gunning for his first Gold Glove. Evan Longoria was a preseason pick by many as a potential MVP candidate. In the name of Joe Maddon's hoodie, even Pat Burrell is on pace for 97 RBI. Andrew Friedman, the Rays' general manager, is also playing at an All-Star level, locking up one of the Rays' building blocks, the versatile Ben Zobrist, to a deal that keeps him in Tampa Bay through the 2015 season. B.J. Upton is looking fully recovered from his shoulder problems. Wade Davis looks like a front runner for AL Rookie of the Year. Rafael Soriano, who converted two saves in one day against Boston, appears to be worth every penny. This mixture has added up to a dynamic demolition crew. Very quickly the Rays have identified themselves as the clear No. 2 team in baseball and have their sights set on New York. The AL East is going to be exciting again. It's going to be a two-team race again. But the second team wasn't the one identified by many before the year began. The Tampa Bay Rays demolition crew—coming to a city near you. Wait... wha? GO RAYS!
  9. My T/A has the stock 305 TPI, red and silver (I really wanter black, but this was all I could find for my price range)... a ton of ghetto mods (previous owner) and has been said, (and I quote) "that is the most Ghetto 3rd gen I've seen in a while." http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/posts/bo...40-post370.html Right now I'm trying to get her back into shape... fixing the rust and poor work done by the PO... One day she will be orange and have a 350 with a cowl induction hood *drools*... I figure why not, there is no chance this poor car will ever be survivor quality.
  10. Hmmm.... I'd have a hard time mounting that with my T-Tops, but I bet I'd never lose a race!
  11. Only if you wanna ride in a bird with only one seat.
  12. Damn, that is sexy... I'll trade ya! lol Love those rims too (I'm trying to find a set from mine), original owner, you lucky dog you.... my TA has been around the block a few times. Anywho, welcome fellow 86 TAer!
  13. Like WoodburyMan said, watch out for ignition lock (can be helped with graphite lubricant, it's a powder, works great), it's very common with the GTOs... both of the GTOs in my family suffered from this problem ('04 and '06). LS2GTO.com has some great info... I drove my brother's GTO a lot, it's a very sweet ride, even if it is a bit over weight. Not a bad thing, but a very annoying thing, the GTO is VERY picky about how you do things, like locking the car then closing the door or popping the trunk will set the alarm off... this is a car that likes order. Other then that... GO FOR IT!
  14. I don't see where the name custom came from... but personally, it's not a mod I would do, it just adds weight, it doesn't nothing to add to the car in control or aerodynamics... visually, I'd have to see what it looks like on a Grand AM rather then a Civic.
  15. Hey now, be nice. He could always be a Marlins fan. And Tampa is less the 2 hours from Orlando.
  16. I must say, it is the biggest PITA to get to the Trop, Tampa traffic, St. Pete traffic... As far as loyalty, if the Sox had 10 seasons at the bottom, their fans wouldn't show up either. You are talking apples to oranges, a team with history against a team without, not to mention, Florida is filled with so many New Yorkers (myself included) that we are just south New York. Now that we have a real team, and talks of a better located stadium... I can't wait.
  17. This is easy... The Yankees and the Red Sox were established in 1901, while the Rays are only 12 years old. The Yank's payroll was $208,097,414 for 2009 and the Sox was $122,435,399, while the Rays payroll was a sad $68,230,934. I would say we are holding our own quite well considering. Food for though, the Yankees first visit to the World Series was in 1921, 20 years after their birth, it only took us 10.
  18. And Lord help you if you don't have tint, you'll end up looking like this... My Trans AM has neither.
  19. You're both wrong, it's Rays > Yankees & Red Sox.
  20. Oh, you'll like Florida, no front license plates, no emissions checks, no snow, and as long as you stay away from the coasts, no salt! Don't forget to bring your swim trunks and sunglasses.
