  1. Thanks for the diagram. The issue is that the passengers side only will not lock. I had the door panel apart and replaced the actuator with no luck. everything moves easily and is not dirty. Even without anything connected the actuator only energizes when the unlock is pressed on either door switch or the key fob. When locking the doors with either door switch or the fob only the drivers door energizes and locks.
  2. The hood has some paint cracks around the hood scoop openning. Just have to paint it and restripe it.
  3. I would be glad to pass on anyones name and number to her. But I don't have her permission to give her information out.
  4. Thanks everyone, no damage other than the hood issues I already knew about. There is a Falcon, a 58 Impala and a VS bug on the trailer also.
  5. I was on the Facebook site for POCI and someone said that an elderly widow was selling her husbands old car items. It wasn't cheap but also wasn't out of line either. I called this nice woman that was a great person to talk to and purchased the book site unseen. If you look at the tabs on the binder it looks like the Lemans/GTO section was used the most. This was the only Pontiac item she had. If you have anyone looking for Cadillac or Packard I think she might have more of that. Let me know and I will contact her put you in touch. I was just in the right place at the right time for this because I have never seen another like it for sale.
  6. Just got a call from Reliable Transport and the Can Am will be here tomorrow morning....
  7. Just a few shots of my new (uded) album, very good condition. This what the salesman used before computers. It has the full Pontiac line included.
  8. I don't know much about the electrical systems on a car but I will check the switches and the wiring but if it unlocks wouldn't that rule out a fuse issue or a relay issue? I bought the car about 6 months ago and it worked then. I will check by the door wiring also, thats a good idea and easy to check.
  9. I took the lock switch from each door and switched them to the other side and it still has the same issue.
  10. You mention the power windows, do I need to check these also since it is only the passemger lock that is acting up and they are on separate switches or do they share some type of power from each?
  11. I have a 2002 GTP that is a 2 door and the passengers door lock will not lock with either door switch or the key fob. It however unlocks okay with either door switch and the fob. I replaced the actuator today but that didn't fix the issue. Any ideas for me?
  12. Got a call from Reliable Transport and the Can Am is closer to home and is in Detroit. I guess it wanted to see it's birthplace before it made its way to Illinois. It should be here next week.
  13. It will stay stock except for the exhaust that has already been changed. I like all my cars to remain stock...I'm just OLD SCHOOL.
  14. Not sure of the delivery date yet but here are more pictures.
  15. Thanks everyone, when it get here I will take more pictures...
  16. 1977 Pontiac Can Am, 23,900 original actual miles, very early production Can Am and was shipped to the dealer on 4/13/77. It is a numbers matching car with electric windows, locks and power drivers seat, tach., cruse control, rear window defroster, AM/FM/8Track, sport steering wheel, bucket seats and console and No airconditioning. Reliable Transport will have it to me in 1-3 weeks and I am now just waiting.
  17. I was lucky enough to purchase a 1965 orginal Pontiac Dealers Salesmans Album last night...wasn't cheap but I can't wait to get it in the mail to look through it. A very nice woman who's husband had passed away was selling it.
  18. I found one in Oklahoma and one in Mississippi and also received 2 emails today with 2 other people that want to sell theirs. I have it narrowed down to 2 and one is with a tan interior which is 1 of 7 made and one that has a power sun roof which is 1 of 10 made. Decisions, decisions, wish I could look at them side by side. One of the emails I received today is all orginal with very very low mileage with no factory air which is also rare.
