  1. After watching this review, I love it even more. The engine and exhaust sound great for it being straight from the factory like that. http://youtu.be/B4OmbF35AL0
  2. When you go and look up close at the details of the car you will see why it is $21k. I looked it over pretty well and i have to say that they used higher quality materials inside the car along with a good design. It was packed full of features such as hill start assist, 10 airbags, traction control, ABS, Stability control, backup camera, GPS, and much more. The interior pieces seem to fit together quite nicely and if it is anything like my dad's charger, everything is padded to keep it from loosening up and rattling. The underside of the hood has weather stripping to seal it making the car a little more aerodynamic and quieter. I believe this one had active shutters in the grill (I'm not sure how much that really helps but it shows that they put the time into getting the best mileage that they could). It has a turbo 1.4L engine that with 160 HP and 184 LB-Ft of torque. I am amazed that this car gets such good gas mileage. It is pretty heavy for a compact and it still returns good mileage while having decent power. The Cruze could learn a little from this. It too is overweight, but its engine is quite a bit weaker. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the Neon and Caliber. I say WELL DONE DODGE!!!!!!
  3. I just went to the dodge dealership to get a close up look at the Dodge Dart Rallye. It is a really nice car. They really put a lot of thought into every part of that car. I was amazed that this car had a 8.4 inch touch screen with a GPS and backup camera at that price. The cloth interior is also very premium compared to the stuff GM put in our cars. I didn't get to test drive it but I'm sure it will be fun to test next year. The salesman that showed me the car was the guy who sold my dad his 2011 Charger R/T, and he remembered him by name haha. I will definitely put it at the top of my car shopping list once I graduate from college next May. Definitely need to get a Red Rallye with the red and black interior and the 1.4L turbo teamed with the 6 speed manual. Some pics
  4. Our Dodge dealership just got in a new red Dodge Dart Rallye with the 1.4L turbo and 6 speed manual. It is a really sharp car and I really wanted to test drive it. If a dealership near you has a Dart, I would test drive that also. I am definitely looking at one next year when I graduate from college and get a real job haha. The 5 stays though lol. Good luck on the car shopping!!!
  5. WooHoo sounds awesome!!!! I almost got the Eibach Pro Kit but the Canuck Motorsports Springs were about $50 cheaper and had good reviews.
  6. LMAO That's not what that car was designed to do. I love the end where they just swarm that car haha
  7. Oh very good!!! Might I suggest lowering springs? I have to suggest that to everyone now that the 5 is lowered and its awesome.
  8. They ride very high stock. My car was much higher than my boss' 09 civic si and my friend's new Forte. Now it's lower than both.
  9. Wow it will be nearly impossible for the car to lean while taking corners HAHA!
  10. That looks nice!!!!! That reminds me, I should start saving for a new exhaust.
  11. This makes it possible to drive in the winter HAHA....... I hope.
  12. Oh ya and the springs!!! And a before pic for comparison
  13. I just finished getting my suspension fully upgraded sans the shocks and struts. I have fe5 LCA's, 24mm front sway bar, Turbotech Racing rear sway bar, moog endinks, and Canuck Motorsports Lowering springs!!!! Alright here it is. I'll start with the sway bar pic And now for the good stuff: Front: Rear: I love it so much!!!!!!! It drives and rides sooooooo much better than it did on the stock Fe1 parts. I think the ride height is perfect and my car looks a lot better this way. The handling is the best; it doesn't have all of the body roll when turning. It actually corners pretty flat and is very composed.
  14. Probably just by comparison to the super bright leds! I think once you get the load resistors, all of your other problems will disappear.
  15. It was just barely too large of a chip for it to be fixed properly, so he is getting a new windshield tomorrow.
  16. Well my sister couldn't afford her car on her own now that she is married, so she gave her Cruze back to my dad. So he decided to trade it in for the coolest freakin car!!! He is now the proud owner of a 2011 Dodge Charger R/T Road and Track package with the 5.7L Hemi V8. PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now for the funny part. He had the car for less than an hour, had insurance for only about 10 min and then a rock cracked his windshield and he now has to get it replaced. How about that?
  17. It's easier and cheaper for automakers to program the computer to measure the changes in voltage and use that info as an input. It requires less circuitry because all they need is a program rather than analog inputs wired to the computer.
  18. Ya'll are so lucky to have the option to buy aftermarket tail lights haha!!!
  19. Your cruise control isn't working because leds don't require as much power to operate as the stock bulbs do. This allows the power to go through the led brake lights. The computer interprets this as the brakes being applied which would shut the cruise off. You're going to have to add some resistance to the led brake lights so that the current doesn't flow through the leds unless the brake pedal is depressed.
  20. I don't really like the look of most Bonneville's but I have the say the GXP looks sharp. I see that car aging very well compared to most cars. I would drive one HAHA!
