1965 Catalina Convertible

Recommended Posts

Hi- I just joined this website-  I am very proud of my all original 1965 Catalina Convertible that I obtained from the original owner, a dear friend of mine.  I have loved "Ponchos" for most of my life and have owned several including a 1959 bucket seat Bonneville and my first new car, a 1967 Catalina convert with a 3 speed manual floor mounted transmission.  The car that you see in the photo has brought me a great deal of pleasure and when I drive it, I feel like a rock star !  I like to think that the full size cars are kind of unusual in that the GTOs, Trans Ams, Firebirds are in the spotlight now, but Pontiac made some automobiles that were a pleasure to drive, great highway cruisers, and were dependable transportation.  I am very happy to own this one.   Thanks,  John R. Erie Pa.
