Anyone watching the "Winter Classic" today?

Anyone watching the "Winter Classic" today? Its the Boston Bruins vs Philadelphia Flyers in an outside game in Fenway Park they only do one outside game a year . The Boston Red Sox Ball park is the oldest ball park in the country. This should be an exciting game even if your not a big fan it should be fun to watch. IMO Hockey was ment to be played outside and it snowed here yesterday so that should add a little something to the game today.

I'm not a huge fan of hockey but I always watch the winter classic, especially since its the Bruins in Fenway this year!!

Glimpsed at it at work, they had it on one of the AFN channels, actually, all the channels had some sorta of sport at one time or another all night...

I prefered the Blackhawks vs the Red Wings last year. I love seeing original six teams play in the first place, plus both teams had retro-jerseys. Oh yeah - the Red Wings won. Go Wings!

I heard that the University of Michigan are going to play an outdoor hockey game against in-state rivial Michigan State later this year at Michigan Staduim! That will be 110,000+ people at one hockey game. It might set a world attendance record for watching a hockey game in the process. Who knows....

Michigan and Michigan State played to a 3-3 tie in what was called the "Cold War" at Spartan Staduim back in 2001. Attendance at the game was 74,544 according to Wikipedia.
