How Not to Use Bondo

Featured Replies

A quick video from Steve Magnante (of Roadkill's Junkyard Gold fame) talking about why you need to avoid using thick layers or buckets of bondo to restore your car and why metal repair and skim coats of bondo should be used..

I recall American Hot Rod. Yes, they used Bondo across the entire car. However I am willing to bet that a lot got sanded off or sanded down in order to level the exterior panels. Kindig does the same thing on Bitchin Rides. I doubt any of those cars are as bad as what Mags just showed us. It would ruin their reputations as high end custom car builders.
