seat angle

have a 70 lemans sport and the seats seem to be leaning back some, I may be just use to new cars being adjustable and wondered if anyone has thought the same thing, did you do anything to get it to lean forward more, what did you do? thanks

The simplest thing I can think of is to add some washers or a spacer to the back 2 seat bolts. Add too many and you will need a longer bolt. How much forward are you looking to tilt these seats?

Do you have any reason to believe that the seat frames might be bent? Is the seat foam core breaking down at all?

What Frosty said! I did this to my "69" Z/28 after I put the full frame & stainless steel floor pan in. I wanted the seat a little higher. So I took 3" diameter nylon & cut 1" thick pucks drilled a through hole for the bolt & raised the two front buckets. The nylon provides a less harsh intermediary for both the seat bracket as well as the floor. In your case you might only want spacers for the back legs.
