That version of the Iron Duke was put into the '77 Astre and Sunbird. In '78 it was put in the Chevy Monza and the Oldsmobile Starfire too. By 1980, the Iron Duke was re-configured to be put into the transverse/FWD "X" cars, such as the Citation.

Therefore I would be looking for the '77 and '78 versions to put into the Astre.

I would look at our list of junkyards thread for possible sources of these engines. These cars and their respective engines were not considered "keepers" back in the day. Justa is correct, it will be a tough, albeit, not impossible to find. You may have to be prepared to do a complete and thorough rebuild once you find one.

Was also widely used in marine applications too.

I would still be cautious about the year. A lot changed on the Iron Duke in 1980, both to cooling and transition to FWD.
