Featured Replies

My alternator wentout and I took too a mechanic but the price they gave me was sorta outrageous so I decided the alternator . So i-need to know what type of alternator I have to get for my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am gt coupe 3.4 liter v-6. I don't need anything fancy, can someone help me? And what prices am I looking at?

Based on Kiwi's link to Rockauto.com, If prices are about the same and I have a choice between remanufactured vs new - I take new every time.

AC Delco is gm's original parts replacement and my first choice

REMY would by my second choice.

The other two I have no experience with and I would be hesitant to go with them for that reason.
