GTO Steering Column Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi all. Looking to update my steering column with an aftermarket tilt/steer unit. Any feedback on best product/model would be much appreciated. Cheers

Ididit and Flaming River are the two top aftermarket column makers/refurbishers in the US. I like Ididit over Flaming River solely because they are based in Michigan and I also live in Michigan (about 100 miles away) and I can drive there to get my part. So it is totally the convenience factor for me.

Now that I look at Flaming River, I don't see where they have a Chevelle/GTO column. Just a Camaro column. Interesting.

Are you looking for a paintable column or a chrome finish? Cruise control? Column or console shift? All affects price, as you know.

Great thanks for this.

You're welcome. Let us know how things go.

IDidIt !  71 LeMans.  Black column with tilt.  Matched up with my Painless Wiring 26 circuit kit!    Highly recommended!
