Led Tail lights / having issues

Featured Replies

So, I got these LED Tail lights A couple weeks ago and I love them. However, the driver side light keeps collecting condensation and I can't seem to fix it. I resealed the entire housing with silicone sealant and it seemed to work but as soon as the temps got cooler at night it again started collecting condensation inside. Anyone have any ideas on what I can try next to fix the problem? The passenger side is perfectly fine. Thanks.

Have you checked the exterior portion of tail light lens for being loose or hairline cracks? My son's Hummer H3 front headlight kept collecting a lot of water on the driver's side. We tried siliconing the snot out of it, but that didn't help in our case. We ended up having to buy a new (e.g. used) headlight assembly (you can't buy a single headlight unit for the Hummer) to fix it.

My point is, it's not the LED but the tail light itself that may be bad.

Thanks for the reply! Yes I have made sure the plastic was not damaged or cracked.
