When ever I would turn slightly left my wheels would start squicking loud. I have no idea what it could be and for a mechanic to look into it will be $75 hour. Please help!

Since you didn't say which side of the car the noise comes from when you turn left, I will assume that it could be either side of the car.

My first guess is it could be failng bearings on either the left or right front hub. Second guess maybe a sticking front disc caliper.  Last possibility is a failing CV joint.

Jack up the front of the car up and support it properly. Put the car in neutral and spin each front tire one at a time and listen. You may have to turn the steering wheel to the left too. If you hear a significant amount of noise, it is most likely the hub bearings are destroying themselves or the brakes are rubbing. Check each CV joint too, may sure the rubber boot is not torn on either side. If the boot is torn, it has lost all of its grease and moisture, salt, and dirt are getting into CV joint and slowly ruining it - meaning the CV join must be replaced.
