Agree with Chris, you need to split the case enough to drain. Look at your fill hole, (arrow 1) removing the plug in the front wouldn't drain hardly anything out. Do any of the lower bolts go all the way through into the case? Seems like thats how I remember doing mine. Note to self: If it's posi, ya also need to add posi unit oil to that when filling. Then top off with your gear oil to proper level.

It comes on at night. Have a TV for the wife, to cover the conflict. Last 6 mo's have been brutal riding the couch with this hip BS. Other than sports on the weekend, this sucks. Exactly the way I rolled for many years now, as the GTO was a retirement gift to myself. My problem is the monthly budget has shrunk, now that I'm at the paint/ biggest expense part. LMAO. Alway's something to knock my stash $$$ down.

Your doing a great job. Can't believe how clean it really is. I had to use complete floorpan in 2 pieces on my GTO. Welded completely on all seams from inside. Drilled holes and screwed to braces. Removed screws and welded holes. I used a seam sealer on the underside of my floorpans and gaps in my braces. Also around the new inner Rockers I had to make. Then used a smooth undercoating, (no texture) paint and clear. 10+ years and still looks new.
