  1. Welcome, look forward to watching your progress. Lots of pic's please.
  2. Might be worth a call to Butler Tech line. They would be on the hook if it's wrong. Nobody knows Pontiac like Butler, completely trust them. But that's JUSTA me.
  3. Have checked many places with no results. Don't know what places you have checked. Try these if you haven't already. https://www.opgi.com/lemans/1973/interior-accessories https://www.frankspontiacparts.com/usedparts/grandam.htm https://www.chicagomusclecarparts.com/collections/1966-gto-lemans-tempest-dash-parts?msclkid=f86ef9dfae2911ec9db2c0b5e5f8bf97
  4. Yea...Ol Vic dropped a duel timing chain on my V6 block. Never mentioned it. I knew you had some material to remove to make it work, couldn't remember what I had to clearance. Put the timing cover up in place and sure enought, it wouldn't seat to the block. Most would have put the bolts in and reemed them down busting the timing cover. To be fair, he only did the machine work on the block and put the lower rotating assembly together for me. Only took him 3 months.
  5. Welcome AL. We do like pic's around here, inside and outside of your car. Pic's of whatever you might be working on (engine, drivetrain parts ect.) I wouldn't try to fire the car again without some steps in place 1st. Entire fuel system, tank needs to be drained/cleaned. Fuel hardlines can be cleaned and reused. ANYTHING rubber, (needs to be replaced with modern hoses that will withstand todays corrosive fuels/fluids ect) from top to bottom of the entire car. All needs to be replaced. New rubber fuel lines and carb cleaning. Rubber lines for brakes, tires, vacume lines, coolant hoses and make sure radiator isn't plugged. Clean replace fluid. Change the oil and make sure there is no water mixed in. A LIL prevention is worth a ton of $$$, time and headache's. Take your time, it's waited this long to get back on the road. Good Luck. will be waiting for update pic's on your project and we are here to help if you get stuck on something!
  6. Will always be known as COBO Hall. Same as Pine Knob!!!!

  13. I HATE wiring, but if it works after the jumper is installed. My next move would be to check if the orange and pink wires are in the wrong place. Justa guess.....

  17. OHHHH the tent city and noplace to park. Would have liked to buy some merchandise, but too much walkin for this Ol Fart. That's less than 10 min from my house. Used to work at the Beechcraft FBO. In fact, that's where I pulled over to get my speeding ticket, AM of the Dream Cruise.
  18. FM converter was the 1st thing on the list in 73 and my 1st car. OMG CKLW....Motor City Rocks! The one rockin station on AM. Then moved on to 8 track box with it's own built in speakers. Plug N play off the lighter socket. 1st tape?? BOB SEGER and the Silver bullet band LIVE!!!! Was 36 rows from the stage at the concert. Dang it seems like yesterday. Naw yesterday was when my kids were small.
