Who: G8 owners and their guests, as well as any other Pontiac enthusiast who may wish to attend.

What: National Pontiac G8 meet

When: August 19th-22nd, 2010

Were: Quad Cities, Illinois. The host hotel will be Isle of Capri Casino Hotel, Bettendorf located at 1777, Isle Parkway, Bettendorf, Ia. 52722.

Why: Memorable and fun experience for enthusiasts to meet other enthusiasts

How: Driving with your vehicle from your area, to the Quad Cities

Thursday, August 19th: Early bird hotel check-in. Meet starts on Friday and main check in is Friday, the 20th.

Thursday the 19th, those who arrive early can check in.

Friday, August 20th: Official Hotel Check in the morning. In the afternoon, the meet & greet will be held in the host hotel parking lot. From the meet & greet, we will convoy to the drag strip at Cordova Dragway Park. Gates open at 5:30, racing 6:00 to 10:00 or 11:00. Cost to race at Test-N-Tune will be $25, and $8 per person to spectate. Cordova has promised us 1 or 2 staging lanes dedicated just to G8s depending on turnout. Very Possible we may get or need more!

Saturday, August 21st: Car show or autocross. Details pending

Sunday, August 22nd: Late morning raffle's, prizes and awards over food to be held at the Hotel/Casino to conclude our meet. Should be back on the road by 1 pm central time.

1 day 7 hours from Oceanside, CA. Luckily I'll be going to MN that week and the following anyway so I'll be going to the meet! :lurking:
