Yeah, but they are both centered and with the size of the Ion compared to a Mini, I don't understand the reasoning... I guess I wouldn't like to look ALL the way over there to see what's going on. I'd rather be looking down in front of me.

looking to the right to see your speed or tach is lame IMO. i like the very small look down to see my speed

It's more in view than you think. I've driven Ions, and Scion xAs, xBs and xDs with this setup, and it's not as bad as you think.

Interesting... I just don't like the look of not having a cluster in front of the steering wheel. Just so adjusted to seeing that it looks really naked without it.

Looks good, those ion's are really fun to drive. The redlines are awesome but I have only ever driven one. I would own a ION way before I owned a cobalt.

idk they seem to drive better especially if you drive the 5 spd's. I like the interiors better and the ion quad coupes are cool looking. The sedan's aren't much to look at but the quad coupes are pretty cool.

The quad coupes are very nice. My friend has one, her's is customized tastefully too, but it was ordered with a Cobalt SS spoiler, so people think it's an Ion Redline, but it's just a regular L61 powered Delta car. Sharp though.
